So encrypted blockchains ? Good? At least you can hide the cripplemine

pure FUD. you can prove that you sent to someone by providing the tx private key and recipient address

see for example at this link:

1. Nothing about mining has ever been hidden. Mining transactions are completely transparent.

2. It is 100% false that "there is no way to prove that transfer has been made". Here's how bitsquare does it and has done it since May 2016, with 100.0% cryptographically guaranteed certainty, using the features provided by the standard wallet. https://github.com/bitsquare/bitsquare/issues/392#issuecomment-221536154

If only you had a view key or something

Or a per TX key that enables Monero to be traded on bitsquare or whatever they're changing the name to.

Wolfram Warptangent, Point Release 2

This is a necessary point release of Monero v0.10 "Wolfram Warptangent", and is a strongly, strongly recommended update as it includes massive efficiency improvements to the RingCT validation code and various other necessary bug fixes.

Some highlights of this release are:

- massive speed improvements to RingCT validation
- cache tx hashes for failed txs with bad semantics
- added an update notification / download / verification system (to be expanded to include opt-in auto-updating for unattended daemons)
- initial smart mining implementation (Linux only)
- improvements to IBD (initial block download) and sync speed
- switched to a portable serialiser so that wallet files can be used on any operating system
- added uptime to daemon status
- added support for separated mempool / peer datasets for multiple nodes on the same machine (with different p2p ports)
- added a change_password command to monero-wallet-cli
- addes support for restoring wallets from a certain date
- added mempool prioritisation of older txs
- added fixes to fluffy blocks (not enabled by default on mainnet yet)
- add HTTP digest authentication support to all RPC interfaces
- added a connection limit for incoming connections from the same IP
- switched to EasyLogging++ for logs
- added a gray peerlist house keeping system
- added support for multiple daemons using the same LMDB database
- added additional password prompting for monero-wallet-cli actions
- added additional output detail for ring output selection in monero-wallet-cli
- fixed issues with wallets dealing with large reorgs
- massive additions to libwallet_api for additional functions used by the GUI
- removed support for BerkeleyDB, as it is now deprecated
- added support for Android
- added support for DragonFlyBSD
- fixed armv8 build issues

Who is the victim of the scam? And what about the monero crippled miner launch? Scam aswell ?

You realise that EVERY new algo is a cripple mine per se? Because when there is profit to be made you can be sure either the devs already got their better code or even GPU miners are already ready for a CPU coin, nothing different here. And if the Devs are fair someone with deep pockets would have hired somebody already to do a GPU miner...
Also i find it very concerning that people defending an instamine come up with sth like a cripple mine... twisted mind?

Can the trolling ping pong get done with by any chance? Getting boring. High school shit (btw this is a general comment on the last couple of pages)
Mainstream?Really? We are all living in a crypto bubble with rather grand dreams. Nobody but us and the ones naturally gravitating towards individual freedom and responsibility will find us. As for the rest? Dont think so. Thats the problem with democracy. Freedom and personal responsibility will never be voted in....btw Dash? ts ts ts Its marketing towards those that do not care and dont see the point. Apart from speculators there is nothing......

Good read until this load of horseshit. Replace one central authority with another good speal spin it to someone else thank you very much.

Now, don’t give me this argument about how you want to remove human error from the equation entirely. It’s not going to happen and you’re foolish for believing it’s possible, let alone desirable. Very few people want humans gone from these processes. Only wealthy cryptocurrency holders and unusually intelligent anarchists and libertarians with legitimate fears of being hacked or defrauded by cybercriminals and government agents want to go through the effort it will always take to guard against the above dangers by making sure they are the only key holders of several double encrypted cold wallets in secure locations around the globe. Most people forget their e-mail password at least once a year. Expecting them to jump through hoops only to make a transaction or secure their meagre savings is foolish.

If the negative stuff is catching up with you again maybe you can change the name again too, buy a bit more time.

When I read that it sounds like this " Can the trolling ping pong get done with by any chance ? ... blah blah blah.... Dash has no point and is nothing."

Nice stealth trolling Smiley Maybe you should stop by the ANN Dash thread you'd feel at home there.

Considering I'm doing quite well with my 'investment' I fail to see how I was scammed. Must be some weird logic that makes sense to Monero fanboys I suppose.

Good luck with your 'investment' too

There are a ton of people that made money on OneCoin too...

Actually, it is anonymous coin because nobody has seen the blockchain of Onecoin AFAIK.  Cheesy

That being said, Dark coin indeed has been a decent coin to hold in speculation purposes.
Seems that flipflopping between Darkcoin and Monero can increase both your Dark coin and your Monero holdings.
I say this even without holding any Dark coin (perhaps I should have bought it when it was cheap but now it is too late already I guess).

Ahh yes, the good old Argumentum ad PayCoin.   Cheesy

"Weird logic" = "Dash hasn't yet collapsed due to it being a scam, therefore it cannot and will never collapse due to being a scam."

For some reason, my post using Bernie Madoff an example of the flaw in that reasoning was reported and deleted.

Not sure why the mods want to help Dash scam people, but I'll be sure to give them hell for it when Dash collapses and people get hurt.

Awhile back round-about these-here parts, I believe it was, some folks were talking about an expected "sling-shot effect" for HoneyPony's valuation IF/WHEN the long overdue HoneyBadger moon-launch finally happens.

Given we're only a couple percentage points shy of hitting a new BTC All-Time-High, and March looks like it's gonna shape up "interesting" here (what with the ETF decision and China and whatever else other popcorn-ready events are coming down the pike)... what kind of time frame expectation would we be looking at for this alleged sling-shot effect to kick in?

I'm just curious what may be on the program-guide for the show, is all, for me here actually SINCE I've recently re-balanced my BTC/XMR/Other and have now safely locked away everything in cold storage... definitely strapped in and waiting for "launch" here, not gonna change anything else any time soon.... just gonna be sitting back and watching the fireworks, up or down or whatever may happen.

Anyway, TL;DR :: What are you guys, more active traders, etc or "real gamblers" LOL expecting to see IF this sling-shot effect really IS real?

Im still waitinf for monero to increase so i cna sold this coin of mine i really want to change another coins and try to grab some opportunity and try making profit to other coin where i can get or assured profits.

Well you're in luck! I had a meeting with my spiritual advisor this evening, and after throwing the bones and looking into her crystal glass she confirmed that Monero will increase on March 7th at 3:14pm UTC.

They did mention that they were talking about the block limit increasing, but hey, you asked about an increase.
