i'm still looking at the voting issues.
also, i never know anyone here.
those i sent 2k XMS are in my second post.
i never know anyone personally.

is it possible to make the number of witnesses 101 instead of 11 ??

there are two ways to make the active witnesses increase from 11 to 101.
the first is through a committee vote.
the second is when everyone would vote for 101 witnesses each.

there is a third way right now, since i hold most of the coins, i can vote for 101 people.

however, since there is an issue regarding "gaming" the system, and with this original list:

List of poineers:
1. idolacchacked (idolacchacked)
2. riverhead (Riverhead)
3. joseph (TheStuhlman)
4. ragingbull (RagingBull)
5. darkbitdev (DarkBitDev)
6. miso69 (MisO69)
7. theboccet (theboccet)
8. torontor (TorontoR)
9. biodragon (Biodragon)
10. sakr (sakr)
11. max2000irc (max2000irc)
12. mirny (mirny)
13. penetrator10 (Penetrator10)
14. vvinam (vvinam)
15. georgeandrews (georgeandrews)
16. wasda (Wasda)
17. yourmom420 (YourMom420)
18. tkkp (TKKP)
19. nickyhash (nickyhash)
20. kunfu (Kunfu)
21. korvin (Korvin)
22. drays (drays)
23. cupscrypto (cupscrypto)
24. anarchist1 (cran)

i gave each one on this list 2,000 XMS each to participate in voting. that is a total of 48,000 votes.
also since the genesis 156,000 XMS has been mined (most are still vesting).
so all in all there are about 204,000 XMS or less total in circulation.

this now my solution to resolve the "gaming" issue raised by some community members.

if you are in the list of 24 and your status is "member" or higher, i will vote for you to ensure that you become an active witness.
this way, we can minimize gaming the system since it's not that easy to have a "member" status.
if in case this abuse will happen again, i might shift my votes to full members only.

for all new applicants, if you are a jr member or higher, you will get 2,000 XMS, and if you are a "member" or higher you will also get my vote aside from the 2,000 XMS.

all new applicants must create an account in the web wallet http://node.moonstonedac.com:8080

moving to another coin. Can't live in a same place with greedy cheaters

They look like cheaters, but...

you know Dev never announced the rules (regardless of me asking multiple times). And if there are no rules, there cannot be cheaters. No rules = everything allowed. So though I do no like what they are doing, we cannot call them cheaters.. Formally - at least.

Most are well-known Bitshares and Steem community members. And I really have an impression they are well known to the Dev, and may be part of Dev team, or maybe Dev expects some contribution from them, and so lets them do their thing.
yeah afreed with your opinion, anyway, cheaters or not,the way this coin heading is not really good except that network is healthy but the coin spread....Nope
Maybe also ICO coins will be flash bought and screaming hurray as successful one and then on exchange!!! you know the usual scenario  Wink
this is only fast thoughts.I hope I'm wrong

So though I do not like what they are doing, we cannot call them cheaters... They just know what they want and they do their thing. Greedy - maybe, selfish - yes. Then again we don't know their role in the project. Maybe they will make for this.

things are  looking good with mining i see 2 ppl running 6-7 node out of 11 lol
how do you see them  Huh Huh

See the history of accounts...
You will find that
"james" = "morden" = "moonscape" = "nexus-dev" = "riverhead"
All them are upgraded to witness accounts and are supporting each other with votes. Most are in active witness list right now, working tirelessly  Grin
Thats one single person - the biggest cheater - famous riverhead from Steem.

The second one:
"joseph" = "john" = "utclover" = Mr Stuhlman
All those witness accounts were forging blocks yesterday. Today only one is active however.

"sakr" is very interesting guy, not sure how he attracts all those votes, probably just a friend of first two
"biodragon" is also related to them, most probably an alt-account of one of them ("Brand new" account with 0 posts here on BCT)  Grin

Nice company, what would you say, huh?

moonstone registered the account biodragon
moonstone registered the account sakr

Yes, those two are genuine accounts created by founder, but "biodragon" is Brand New on Bitcointalk - guaranteed shill of somebody.
"sakr" is just a knowledgeable guy with good friends, te only issue is he looks to be the part of this group... I actually think he is an insider (friend of moonstone dev because of this post: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/xms-moonstone-dac-1708476 done before teh official announcement from Dev). He is masteryoda witness from Steem.

After all, probably all them are part of Dev team. It looks tat way, though I am not sure.

I think the problem here is that the dev didn't increase the default 11 witness nodes. It should have started at 101 and then increased as we got more interest.

Can we vote to increase the amount of witness node block finders?

I agreed I think we need to raise the limit so everyone can get a chance to find coins.

I voted for 4 people today (in last 5 hours), but only the last vote (for    idolacchacked) is shown on website (http://node.moonstonedac.com:8080/#/account/drays/voting/)! I never retracted any vote.

How that could be? Do votes automatically disappear? Do they just disappear from website, and still work on blockchain level? Is there different way to vote? I am using using "vote_for_witness drays idolacchacked true true". Is there something incorrect? Or is there a bug (on website, or in the core blockchain functionality)?

Dev, your input is urgently needed, before people start actually shooting each other here!
