no need to upgrade, it's the same version. there were more active witnesses because i voted for everyone. now i removed all my votes.

My real question is: is it encouraged for existing witness (one of us, for example "riverhead" or Stuhlman, or me, if I decide to do so), to create multiple accounts and upgrade all them to witness status, vote for them (particularly enforcing the vote by using the xms withdrawn from vesting), and so "mine" from multiple 4-5 accounts at the same time?

Is this something we are encouraged to do, or is it considered cheating? I see at least two witnesses already doing so, thats why I ask. I assume they put themselves into privileged status in fact, so I wonder whether I should do the same to match them. But I will actually do that only if you actually tell its encouraged to do, because as I told already, I believe we are just your guests, and should behave accordingly...

I think the more important question is what the future stakeholders will think is fair and whether you want to risk your reputation as a witness. Depending on when the ICO starts, people may have already forgotten all about this conversation or have never read the thread at all.

now that i don't participate in voting again, i don't have control if you will create multiple accounts and upgrade it. there will be a fee doing so and it's not also an assurance it will become an active witness.

yes it's safe. it accesses a secure websocket at wss://node.moonstonedac.com
i didnt bother putting the http with ssl because it will run locally in the browser. the communications go through wss and not ws so it's safe.

also, i participated in the votes only to see and test if the active witnesses can reach beyond the minimum of 11. i have revoked all my votes now.

I can see witness "vvinam" is signing blocks now, but witness "mirny" stopped doing that.

Mirny, I suppose you somehow managed to fork Huh

, or just your copy of blockchain is corrupted.
You may probably delete the blockchain and resync (but be very careful to save your wallet and config.ini!!!). Better to just resync in new dir, not to brake something in old one..., then copy wallet and config.ini there.

I have a question to the Dev

What are the rules of the game? Are we allowed to do anything we want, like creating accounts with any name as want, create multiple new witnesses, fund them, and run as many witnesses as we want?
I see few people are already doing a lot of that stuff.

I think we are guests on this project, and so should probably behave as good guests, and do whatever the host thinks is appropriate for us to do, that's why I prefer to ask first

So... what are the rules? Are there any, or we should play as much as we want, as this is a testing run?
