I'd really like to second you in discouraging yourself and others; solo mining is a game that is hard to stand if you don't see anything happen. And the less people that take part in that game, the more primecoins for me! :p

But I can't.

The thing is: it is spread extemely uneven when/where you solve blocks. I have primecoin running on several machines. Some of them have never solved a block (if I don't count orphans...). But I also have found 3 valid in a row yesterday on another machine (within 11 hours) and no one on any other machine. And despite the risen difficulty to above 8 I have solved 4 blocks after that.
I have a total of approximately 10.000 PPS and run mikaelh's version on each of them (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/xpm-ann-primecoin-high-performance-hp14-released-255782). I don't solve many blocks. But there has been no day where not at least one block was solved from one of the machines. And on some days it is up to 2 or 3.
And besides the nice little amount of primecoins that brings to my wallet, I can be glad that I've found a cunningham chain - maybe one time there is one that is not yet known by mankind such as when the blocks #2044 and #5355 have been solved (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/xpm-primecoin-record-books-253409).
The more people that mine, the more calculation power is put to this network, the longer the chains have to be (to be able to make a Proof-of-Work for solving a block). It only gets more interesting with the rising difficulty

So give yourself a jolt and let the machines run for some more days.
And don't forget to update your mining software if that has not already been done!
...with the first of Sunny's releases you won't have fun and less success as with the last of Sunny's releases (or for example mikaelh's release).

Just got another block on an 8 core - payout at 13.01 so looks like we're going into 12 territory soon..

Not me, seeing three immatures on each of my two dedicated servers out on the net was like wow awesome since I already checked hours ago that I was in net profit for the day so these are gravy.

EDIT: Oops make that four immatures, one orphan, and another immature on one server, three immatures on the other.

I've found 5 blocks on one 12 core..  4 of them just within the last 3 hours..seems to be the case each time - drought for 8-10 hours, then 2-4 in quick succession.

Hah, everybody went from yeah XPM go.....

I think everybody here is highly discouraged and lost their enthusiasm about XPM.

No block for 72 hours, about 6000pps in total. Ah well.

the forum is just dedicated to SunnyKings coins that he has developed, so there was a reason to link the two... on the forum sunnyking expressed how XPM is supposed to be a bridge to PPC, I asked the community there what they wanted and SunnyKing's support for a combined forum sealed the deal, so come join us and check it out for yourself

I've been away the last couple of days.

I just shut off that core 2 duo I earlier in some thread mentioned did not seem to like client optimised for -march=core2, as all it had gotten in over 24 hours was one orphan. But hey at least it did get one even if it did get orphaned.

This desktop I am using as my Xwindows graphics-server to run browser etc on happens also to be a core 2 duo, though this one's PPS looks reasonable using the -march=core2 so not sure how its different from the other one. All this one has gotten since whenever i started it days ago is one (not orphaned) block.

So I think although core2 machines (such as my Dell Optiplex 755 boxes) seem fine, core 2 duo machines, including this Dell Optiplex 760, are maybe somehow not as good.

Overall i seem to have been doing much better than all you unlucky/complaining folk, though its possible maybe one of my 755's has only gotten one block since starting them days ago.

I turned off the other core 2 duo since the machines were heating my room too much despite my 8600 BTU air-conditioner; its ultimate purpose anyway is simply to be able to have GPUs plugged into it which I do not have yet so no point overheating until they start arriving. (Whereupon I will have to get someone to help me carry the 12000 BTU A/C up from the van and get it put in place.)

One block from my 8350, no blocks from my other one running @ 3 cores, none from my Intel i5 in last 24 hours or so.

I've gone dry as well, think I got one bock out of 5 different CPUs in the past 48 hours.

No block for 12 hours. ~4000 pps.

You have been updating your client all those days though, right?

As if you are still using the initial/original client heck no surprise you stopped doing well when everyone else upgraded to more-efficient clients...

I don't know if it's the difficulty sky-rocketing already, luck or something wrong with my config.

But in 2 quad core pc's mined about 200 coins in the first 48 hours, and then I have not found a single block in the last 4 days.  A q6600 and a i3. Does this seem possible? Seems to be running okay but seems incredibly unlikely...

Wow yeah, four new blocks on one server since last I checked not many hours ago. Luckiest lucky streak it has had since it started up several days ago I think.

Holy cow, another server too! i think a huge number of virtual servers somewhere must have shut down sometime in last few hours or something!

(Mine are dedicated servers, paid by the year so pretty cheap compared to by the hour virtuals.)

Why would it clutter up? It's dedicated to PPC and XPM only.
