414$ made him 600 blocks, at least 9000 XPM. That's mining costs of 0.046$ or ~0.0005BTC per XPM. Guess it's safe to assume this as the lowest price possible for now.
Ofcourse only a small minority are able to do such a mining operation, just throwing this out, looking for your thoughts.

Oh, but cudo's to you, Aggrophobia.

I never cast opprobrium on one who uses the mechanics of a system to their advantage.

I thought I read 600 coins, not blocks

Edit: Nevermind...600 Blocks not coins
I misread this too as coins, that's about 10k coins...

So far for some people here thinking most hashes come from people being interested in prime world records Smiley

no Orphans included
with orphans the counter could be 2500 blocks -.-
regret many decisions, but 500% profit is 500% profit Wink

Are the amazon machines easy to setup like digital ocean?  I had a hard time trying to get the free one setup, it kept telling me to wait for the account to be authorized.  Secondly do you have to go over to the security page and create keys for each vpm?

I'd like to thank those who bought most of mine at .00722. I salute thee.

+1

Not quite 0.00722 here, 0.006750. Close enough Smiley

I put in that order and left and was stunned to find it filled. The rest was ~.0066, followed by a few lucky blocks for less. Haven't had anything but orphans since. I think the mining gig is about up, or more aptly has been.

The increased diff won't translate to higher prices, long term it never has. Only speculation that the coin will have some future "mass" adoption has increased price. DGC is the most successful post-FTC "crap coin" and it's taken a lot of work on the part of the devs to get it there. Remains to be seen what kind of support XPM has. I'm guessing not as much.

I had serious doubts at the time of the sale, wondering if I was being superdumb. But, like every new coin hitting an exchange, after a few hours it starts to drop. CPU only, innovations, whatever, they don't matter. Most people (miners in this case) are here to make a quick buck, whether you like it or not  Cheesy

As I've stated, I've finished my mining / trading in this market for a while.

However, for those still actively in the short-term (one to three month) game, looks to me that bouncing off a floor of 0.001 is not at all unreasonable / unexpectable.

Well, that was a pretty quick crash.

At or below 0.002 on all three exchanges now.

I hope all y'all with a monthly commitment to pay for VM's have made your nut by now.  Smiley

Well for starters, GPU game change means all the VPM machines would be stopped and useless.
Hmmm, didn't someone suggest that?    Grin

Yes, you have avoided the direct answer to especially No1 Wink Never mind, thanks for the effort, it's really interesting how and if the GPU game would be played out.
Thank you. "I have always relied on the kindness of strangers."
(not really, but the quote seems apropos in context  Smiley  )
