XRP 14 $ is impossible. Firstly, it has a huge supply and the increase to $ 14 will make its capitalization higher than any coin in this market => ridiculous.
second, even the CEO of XRP also unlocked coins to sell to the market. that means he foresaw part of XRP's dark future so he sold his coins. The fact that the XRP team is unlocking coins and selling them regularly in the market is very familiar. This action shows that they are no longer interested in the future of XRP.
Completely agree with you, mate. $14 per XRP sounds very optimistic right now, and very unlikely to become a reality in the future. There's heavy manipulation in XRP's price on the market, thanks to the Ripple company itself. There are billions of coins circulating right now, which maximizes sell pressure on the market. There's no way for XRP to experience higher gains in the future, unless Bitcoin goes all the way to the moon. I remember that XRP got past $3 per coin after a bull market. It was able to "topple" Ethereum in market cap, becoming the second-largest cryptocurrency in the world. But everything went down quickly, making XRP return to sub $1 prices.
Considering that XRP lacks real use cases in the mainstream world, it has all the odds of becoming a failure in the future. The mere fact that it's centralized, says it all. Stellar, on the other hand, seems to be a better option than XRP itself. Despite XLM's decentralization benefits, it has been unable to reach higher prices on the market. That's probably because of the huge supply of coins circulating on the market just like XRP. The main difference is that XRP's supply is manipulated by a company, while that's not the case with XLM. In the end, people will demand decentralized cryptocurrencies on top of centralized ones for a very good reason. For Blockchain technology to work as intended, the middleman needs to be removed. XRP will ultimately fail as it replicates the traditional banking system crypto was meant to replace in the first place. Just my thoughts
