i think if rank up it means market still on high volume, and it means it can pumped or dumped by some people, and wouldn't change much about price, once pump and dump done it will back to normal like what it does, so i never think much or affected by it. Yes that true, I check at coinmarket cap ripple have the second position placed and it will be good for buying ripple now. We have see how growing up of ripple last several day and it good information to buy and invest now at ripple.
As I think, XRP's replacement of Ethereum in the cryptocurrency market is understandable. While ETH can not keep its value for a long time, instead, it continually drops and increases, making investors feel insecure about investing in a coin. Although they are strong in the past, at present they do not reflect anything that would encourage investors to continue investing in ETH.

I really think its just temporary tug of war! Currently XRP is taking the advantages of being in the down time of ETH coin who is struggling a lot with its network and also people are dropping out of it very fast. Now ideally when investor goes out of the No. 2 current in the chart then they will surely put their trust over the #3 currency which is by default XRP here. Thus, it is getting more and more volume day by day and in the meantime ETH is loosing its volume. The net effect is increased market cap for the XRP and thus we are seeing that its gaining the #2 position. This has happened earlier so I am sure its not a big deal for it.
ETH and XRP interchange there place :-). XRP is the best project but I have some confusion because this is the centralized project. In cryptocurrency is mainly focus decentralized but This is somewhat different but Strong project and ATH reach $4+++ Will expect more reach ^^^
Even though XRP is centralized, recent market dynamics had shown extreme price flexibility of XRP. Growing around 80% in one day and then finding a new floor of + 50%, that sure gives specific signs that XRP might grow further and literally fly to the moon with upcoming Xrapid technology. October can show some interesting price increase and not with XRP only.
I think this incident will not survive for long. Ripple does have potential and recently showed his class. of course, this also impacts the number of partners that have established close cooperation with them. but to be able to last long in the position of the two seemed quite difficult though indeed many are hoping. ethereum won't be silent when they shifted position and this would be a pretty tight competition.

With large circulation coin in market, Ripple can be massive market cap value. Maybe in next few years ripple can replace bitcoin as biggest market cap value in market.

A couple of minute XRP rocks the second place of coin marketcap today, it was so happen the marketCap of XRP increases .06B which is equals to 600,000 thousands. These is second time time we see the XRP having tremendously attempt to repalce the current coins which is ETH coin. More to happen on both coins keep investing.
And now XRP is back in position 3, I think it's still too difficult to really shift ETH to number 2. But I will say that this is a very good achievement for XRP in the last few weeks. Maybe many people will smile at the current XRP situation.

Yes, After a long time sleep, XRP pumps and it took Ethereum's place! If the bull market starts then I think XRP can overtake Ethereum's position permanently.
