It would seem so, when I was looking at it and discovered that ripple had taken the second spot from ethereum my first thought was, who would have thought? But here we are. It is the one thing that gets me about the crypto market and the coins everytime, there is no way that anyone can tell what is going to happen and this just proves it
Not all people are after decentralised crypto, many people just want to make a profit regardless.
I have seen that numbers and it really impressed me. But at the same time I understand that this is not a result of free market regulation. The big part of coins is under control of its management group. So I can not exclude that this growth is directed by somebodies.
Xrp is a very good coin itself. Many people don't like ripple cause it's centralised and backed by banks. But I am one of them. But if you think about it's technology it is very good and useful. So it's very easy to accept by general people. I don't know what gonna happen in future but for now as a project xrp has very strong prospective. Maybe in future ethereum also do some recovery in price and long as in project but now xrp is going very strong and good.
It makes me a great profit so I am holding. Simple.
It has nothing to do with centralised or decentralised, it is about profit and investment.

Me i always buy this coin when it is in a down price and i HODL it wait for the bull run, and this coin always do this everytime the market cools down. I hope it breaks it's high record price this coming January 2019 
It is nice to see that someone moved the ether and made a coup, maybe after that the increase in benefits and competition will begin. Although it is hard to believe in the appearance of forks, now you can reinvest in a ripple and gain even more from it.
XRP is one of the best altcoins to take into account, I think the development is good too, and certainly this is one of the coins that is listed in the best coin list in crypto so now it is more widely known, and of course this XPR will last a long time to front of it later

You have to invest in Ripple. And you must believe and always think positively and uphold optimism for Ripple. For me, Ripple is the second good coin after Ethereum, which is the good and high potential that is owned by Altcoin today. So don't waste your opportunity to invest in Ripple right now.
I can see some great potential with XRP, every few weeks there are new announcements of companies deciding to use the coin for cross border money transfers which is its intended purpose. XRP is also well positioned to jump in value when the next Bull phase begins Ithink during Quarter 1 of 2019

That incident I guess is resulted by the recent xrp listing on coinbase which attracts many traders as well as investors. What more in this december where coinbase will going to list erc 20 compatible token to their platform. Bullish month ahead!
I think reaching the point just like the in the days when Ripple reach it's peak will be so mun entertaining for every Ripple holder.

It will increase the value but the value of ethereum I don't think so. But better if we have more ripple now because for sure it will grow our money if we invested to this coin. Ripple will back again to thw highest price like what they reach before.
In the next few maybe XRP will not get back to the $3+ mark it was at a year ago but maybe ETH will also not rise $1000+ for many many months.
There are no certainties in crypto.
Ripple is certainly cementing itself as the number two coin in crypto. Ethereum has been pumping hard this week, but catching up with ripple is going to be a hard task especially if the SEC cracks down on ICOs
Ripple will still give many opportunities to his investors to earn very well. Do not doubt it.
Ripple is indeed at its peak now. Ripple could surpass ethereum last month. Maybe Ripple can compete with ethereum or bitcoin though. Everyone would hope so.
With Bitcoin, Ripple definitely can not compete. I think that the main competitor about capitalization for Ripple is Ethereum and most likely, we will see how they will change places again and again.
I do not deny that Ripple can reach the level of 3.5 dollars, but I do not want to risk and will not invest in it. I believe that it will again fall to third place after the team Ethereum announces their new updates.
I will give my own answer this way, and the way is if the market will recover, them the recovery of Ripple is inevitable and I know there will be recovery in the cryptocurrency market.
