XRP price is now stabilising at around $0.90 to $1 mark and that is excellent news for investors. If Ripple manage to either make a short and swift deal with the SEC the price of XRP will flourish and if they get drawn in to a long drawn out litigation then XRP price will still be potentially lucrative enough for traders and investors to make money on short-selling if they do not want to risk long term investment.

It's nice to see that Ripple is standing their ground, and they have some small wins but the battle might be long. Whatever the court will decide on Ripple's violation, hopefully they will only settle financially and with some minor punishment so the project will continue its development and investors will not be affected. This new is a good signal to buy again.

After having risen so much XRP, since 2018 a pump of this magnitude has not been seen, some speculate a lot about it, reading the news a bit I came across this article where what this trader named Clark says catches my attention:

Everything may be pointing to XRP continuing to rise in price, this is more interesting for XRP lovers. I am thinking of buying a little and leaving an order of + 30%.
Seeing the XRP price go over the $1 mark today even with all the hassles Ripple is facing with the SEC is in itself a major feat. I hope XRP will continue to rise and maybe beat its all-time-high of $3.84 before the lawyers start the battle in Court.
One of the main problems that Ripple faces is that the SEC are saying it violates federal law by being a security token rather than anything else. Ripple admitting they broke the rules is a dangerous thing to happen they should not admit to anything but go for a settlement without accepting guilt.
Whether they settle out of Court or not this will set a precedent for how the SEC goes after other crypto they see as a security token and what those crypto have to do if they want to stay operational.

If Ripple can come to an out of Court settlement with the SEC then XRP will fly back in to the top five crypto by market cap and sit there for the long term. If they manage to agree to a settlement then XRP will flourish as the base commodity that Ripple network uses and many in the fintech industries will be after it trying to be associated with it.
I am not a holder of XRP and I don't really like it either but XRP has a pretty big market, it's undeniable. however, XRP holders must be prepared for all the results issued by the SEC.

There has been a continuous pump and dump since the SEC started legal proceedings against Ripple but we do not know when this mess will be sorted out. XRP still can be a permanent top 5 crypto if they settle with the SEC out of Court but it seems this Court litigation might be going on for years.
^ Who can seriously say XRP is a long-term hodl right now? Everyone that is getting into it from what I can see is hoping for a quick buck. 5% or 10% scalps and rinse and repeat because this XRP dump and pump and dump cycle is far from over. $1 may still be on the cards but that's not going to happen with all this scalping.

It all depends on whether XRP will be brought with the intention to hold long term or not. When the US Court cases are over XRP will either collapse or be stronger than ever.
