But it's a big deal already, if I'm not mistaken, they have a big concentration in the US, so their market will be affected. You know, any news involving the US is a big deal since they are the leading nation, and we've seen the dump due to FUD or whatever you call it.

Trump lost. Shouldn't they change the head of the sec soon? or someone is trying to be reconfirmed and then fires these missiles to scare others? The Usa, not the sec, can order! and then what is the significance of an American decision on an international exchange? it means that American investors will go to invest where there is no sec. Dubai Papua Switzerland etc. Crypto is an opportunity for everyone, not a threat. It is sad to see the Usa hindering when they should favor, just as they did in the 1990s with the nasdaq. Maybe it's Bitsdaq time ...

That's what I think, good time to buy but doubtful at the same time with that worry that might impact the exchanges too.

the sec can act on the company on USA not on what it has produced and that 95% of customers (who are not Americans) own. They are certainly not stock exchanges. Then, if the SEC also wants to regulate casinos, what credibility will it ever have in the future? But then, since it would be a share, why didn't it close on the downside? What safeguards would the sec provide?

The allegation is likely true and I saw it coming since last year. They might struggle with this case in court and at the end loss, they are likely buy time with the court case to accrue some fund as exit scam. All through last year, everyone was complaining of the high transaction of ripple, some with the thought of dumping the market to accrue bitcoin but we got a different story now

What a huge hit by SEC ! Ripple is already on a forth place on coinmarketcap and on a top place of weekly lossers.
Poor Ripple. It has been trying to survive since 2017 and I guess it has come time to say goodbye. I wonder who would invest in it after such announcement from SEC. I think it will face the fate of facebook and telegram altcoins - will die silently after not being understood and supported.

Beaxy exchange has reacted to halt trading XRP and announced it through their twitter account. They are advising everyone to withdraw their XRP on their exchange effectively.
