On September 22nd we saw the ripple was fantastic when beat ETH climbed to No. 2 on the coinmarketcap not long but for all the investors and making ICOS is the biggest shock. Tomorrow will be different today as the way people describe life and now i see the ripple as Altcoins can be potentially dangerous and continue to take the position of ETH and hold after Bitcoin.

I should have trade more of this XRP than just hold it. Since last year I end up leaving XRP in my wallet than I was suppose to keep buying after selling. I'd really expect a huge profit if this XRP is going to be adopted sooner like what they usually claim which banks are going to be using. It doesn't matter now if they are decentralize or not.
Ripples really make us all amazed at the level of flaming in the past few days and at certain times it has overtaken ETH. I expect this currency will likely go to the moon by the end of the year.

Last week Ripple spiked probably due to the speculation concerning the release of the XRapid protocol. Non the less, XRP is still ranked as a coin to watch due to the upcoming conference in San Francisco in the beginning of October.

I would like to hear people's opinion on XRP/Ripple. News, Trends, Concepts, Technical Issues... anything pro or con that might be indicative of it's survival or growth opportunities in actual real world use cases. Or things that indicate it's failure.
Here is my two cents to start it off, starting with a Disclaimer.
Disclaimer: I have weighted portfolio of Bitcoin (5 - 10%), Ethereum (70 - 80%), XRP/Ripple (10 - 25%). I'm a HODLer, not a Day Trader,a nd reportionments are done rarely based on trends. My purpose of this post is to try and determine whether a repportionment of Ripple is appropriate. And I am currently of an equal mind. 33% to lower stake. 33% says stay hte course. 33% says increase shares. So real certainty here I tell ya! LOL Hoping someone will say something here to un-jam my mental logs.
My current facts as "I" see them....
CURRENT PRICE: Ripple is doing absolutely nothing. No real motion in any direction except sideways. Only recent facto that may be contributor is the court case that allowed prior founder (McCaleb) to unload his billions of XRP at a current rate of "0.5% of average daily volume for each day of the week, including weekends and holidays". So hardly anything of much substance, however, the fact that the price hasn't gone down means that there are at least enough buyers to keep the price even.
NEWS: I keep a very steady eye on Ripple, constantly trolling news, webs, boards for info. Again - nothing. Almost a total black hole of current news. The only recent "news" are name dropping tidbits about SBI Holdings in Asia wanting to use Ripple. Microsoft Azure being open to Ripple blockchains. R3CEV hinting at Hyperledger open to Ripple use cases. Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) running a Ripple Blockchain Trial. Press Releases about 42% savings to banks using Ripple. And vague references to Interledger, which is sort of analogous to Hyperledger or Lightening network in a way..... talk, no real world scenarios yet though. And all of this very hypy-vague. Just little tidbit trickles of "News", "non-News" actually, that basically says, "Hey, we're alive."
GENERAL THOUGHTS: I think Ripple/XRP IS still alive, and due to the nature of its business model, is in "secret development" mode. I mean, you won't see news, until you see news, but whe that news does come - it may be a hard break. My opinion is that will most likely be up (obviously - I DO own it), but I guess it could be down, or it might even be just a really really slow up if the news is not dramatic enough that other coins (Bitcoin/Ethereum etc) aren't also releasing big news, and thereby suck up all the investment money that might go into Ripple/XRP - thereby blunting the reaction. However, it could go the other way,a nd we could get good news out of Ripple / bad out of Ethereum/Bitcoin, and the pressure could be exacerbated up. Also- the whole "premined" aspect doesn't bother me that much. With all my crypto investments I am looking primarily at actual eventual use case scenarios to determine value. The 2nd tier money coins (Lite, Dash, Monero etc) are of no interest, and even the Utility coins (Emercoin, Maidsafe, etc) seem a bit too spiky/dodgy and subject to market manipulation/risk to me.
Ripple is obviously a top tier player, but a little lacking in discussion at present. Thought I'd fire up a topic.

The price surge slows down, I hope to see it leap up when SWELL conference is going on. I understand this is going to be like ETHEREUM platform too so I think if there will be more companies using the platform, XRP will also shoot up to mars.
Unlike institutional investors, general public wants sensationalism, and that lacked at Swell 2017. So either we see more sensationalism this year, or
maybe more interest from institutional investors this year, if we expect to see price rise

To be honest though, I expect a bigger fall to follow because of many ripple-haters, most of whom lack the power to think for themselves.
To repeat my lost-in-the-last-page post,

XRP will move sideways while victims of the FUD which is spread sell their coins and new people will start pilling up coins while XRP is on a correction.
This period will last a week to a month and then within October it'll keep moving up... how high however I can't tell.
My advice: Do NOT try to trade it while it moves sideways, just hold if you believe in XRP or if you don't believe then sell your coins and go buy ETH, BCH or whatever.

In two days, Ripples are making a fizzle in the electronic money market and they have twice surpassed ETH's market capitalization in the No. 2 spot in the electronic money market, although the timing is short but I found that XRP is the most potential coin.
It can be assumed that such a ripple movement will give a significant potential for the growth of the entire crypt, in particular, the ethereum.

I do not need to hold it for much longer, the most important thing is that I have benefited because it is feared that this will only be temporary and cannot guess what will happen tomorrow. all this time the ripple is very good for a clear and profitable investment.
As much as I did not like this coin XRP, but it is very profitable. 3k $ for one day. It's just wonderful. Thanks to the market for the opportunity. Friends, trade profits, and do not look for a wedding with a coin. I mean do not sit out in positions. Trade, this is for income.
Well who would've thought that it was ripple that would boom at this time. Good for those that had ripple in their portlfolios. Though i would now be a but wary of jumping in fomo since many who made profit may very well be cashing out now
Does anyone else think that we are going to see another leg up? lol. This is funny when you seeing what ripple can do.

Now, if anyone keeps the XRP then that is a really lucky thing, because now the XRP is growing quite well, the growth rate is quite high and may be a good time to sell the coin. . The market will soon recover and the pennies will rise
