My opinion is cryptocurrency doesnt mean it has to be decentralised, if it uses cryptography in any sense even a paper currency can be crypto.

Shorting Ripple seems like a great opportunity right now. Not only because it is an overhyped and overvalued coin, the charts just look really good for it as well
am holding onto XRP, a lot of momentum with them, they will ride out this downswing and come back I'm sure of it

Ripple is not like other altcoins since it is a payment network for banks. However, this altcoin has good reputation within banks for their price and security. Ripple is one among the top 5 cryptocurrency as well.If it gets to be useful in the next years, XRP will have good value and if you don't try to buy for your stash, you miss an opportunity.
