What do you guys think Ripples potential is? I was very high on it before but not so much anymore. Thinking about pulling most out. Like someone else said, for it to even reach $2-3 it would have to have a ridiculous marketcap.

and how much would you be considering ridiculous because to me its already ridiculous.  Grin and what's more ridiculous than what it is today is that it still maintains its position on top of the CMC for years. didn't you wonder where all these money are coming from?  8Billlion is huge and you can expect that to multiply.

Hear hear. Stability is a good sign. If you only care about day trading, you're on the wrong coin man. This one's about year trading.

I had forgotten about CODIUS, I suppose now Ripple have a lot more money they can spend it on a risky smart contract platform. Did anyone hear anything from a Ripple employee about restarting this project. BTW I would never try trading this digital asset it has mind of its own.

Sorry to crush your dreams, but there is no moving down from here,
Lock up is closely and everyone is getting ready  Wink
btc isnt going to be a problem. Fork here fork there. Same for etherium  fork here fork theree bugs exploits hacks...havent heard something bad about ripple Wink Wink Wink
BTW codius is under maintenance again. The smartcontract platform of ripple. They see what etherium CANT do and try to improve this mess

If XRP platform can solve what ETH can't do, there is a chance that some tokens may want to move to XRP platform. Can XRP platform casually do this without affecting much because through such method, swapping would be smoother and will keep the reputation of Ripple.

https://codius.org

Smart contracts run on Codius can:

hold assets in one or multiple math-based distributed ledgers, such as Bitcoin and Ripple
collect information from any source connected to the internet
be written in standard programming languages
Depending on the security model required for a particular smart contract, the contracting parties can select the host or group of hosts they trust. A larger number of hosts can be used to add more redundancy, and thus security, to the contract’s execution and to ensure that the terms are carried out exactly as specified.

Smart contracts are not directly legally enforceable. However, smart contracts could be created alongside corresponding traditional contracts that can provide a legal backing or fallback.

Maybe this could be interesting for you Smiley

BTC strongly continue up trend. Cash change from alt cash to Bitcoin. Therefore remaining in the Ripple really risky. Particularly entering throughout the risings more risky. The btc element causes it to be challenging.

don't forget bitcoincash, despite not being in love with a lot of people, in the last two weeks is a real monster cathcing up more more then 90% versus bitcoin value (from 0,05 to 0,09)
maybe it is related to the uncertainty about segwit2x...

and ripple continues to move up and down inside general boundaries of 0,19USD to 0,22USD with occasional spikes, we will see

Here is one cool link for the guys always asking about "wHy uSe xRp".... Smiley

Of all the digital assets on the market, XRP is the one that continues to turn heads. Since January 2017, its value surged from $0.006 to $0.20 by the end of October 2017 — an increase of more than 3,200 percent. Through its holdings of XRP, Ripple is now one of the most valuable startups in the U.S., after Uber, Airbnb, Palantir and WeWork.

Yet, like all digital assets, XRP is often a source of confusion, mystery and speculation. So, let’s clear the picture with 10 things you need to know about XRP.

XRP may not sustain above $0.20 when Bitcoin maiden keep giving birth until December 2017.
We gonna expect another hardfork on December 2017.
Happy Silver X-mas 2017

Wahahab bitcoin is really an attention *hore LMAO

its been forking forever, who ever come up with something that doesn't even have any difference  but a name, they are going to fork just to get more money while these coins are all leeches. there should have been a regulation and that exchanges should not support all these forks.

Ripple has been in correction for a very long time but it will go to new highs next year.
It is easier to just HODL it and wait for the eventual rise.
I agree to all 100. Hold until you have x50 and then sell the half-breed. Moreover, the prospects are good.
