Swell confrence commences now. Very intrested in the content, future direction of ripple, and possible announcements.

https://swell.ripple.com/

XRP AT 0.36 cents AUD at confrence commencement , supprised it has not hit a few cents higher on a speculative spike.

it hasn't dip much too so holders must be expecting really good for XRP now that swell is also in the process. there is nothing else to do for XRP since fudding don't work anymore. buy more xrp now or regret later.  was already regreting for not buying more at the time when the price was 15 cents.

I don't understand why people are saying "XRP can't go up because BTC is doing too well"

Do you not understand that XRP and BTC have almost nothing to do with one another?

Most altcoins' performance are in some way tied to the performance of BTC, but XRP does not fall into this category. It is a totally separate and independent blockchain. BTC's price rising or falling is completely irrelevant when looking at XRP.
Because after the price of Bitcoin increased, the price of almost altcoins are decreasing and Ripple is also a part of these atlcoins. Of course, this is only a FOMO and will be end soon, those who said are saying Ripple can not go up just affected by the price of Bitcoin and the FOMO in the market.

Yes, the FOMO is one of price dropper.
Almost all altcoins is left behind and down, down, down cause sell walls is getting bigger and bigger while seeing BTC increase much and much higher

You are partly right, BTC and ripple has very little in common from tech view.
But the altcoin market is very sophisticated .
The situation when btc is going rapidly up but ripple is not could be explained with scenario when traders are buying btc with funds from selling other alts in short term because of impressive btc gains. Thus the statement "XRP can't go up because BTC is doing too well"  could be true.

This guy thinks XRP may go ballistic over the next several days because of Ben Bernanke speaking at the Ripple Swell conference this Mon-Wed.

He also believes the next stop is $1....very bold statements.

Fastest way for fresh fiat to enter crypto is through btc as it has the most fiat gateways and exchanges.

Once the money enters through btc...after a bit a of time, the money always flows down, into the alts
this is why the alts keep rising in value as the yrs pass.

Yes XRP is independant from btc from a tech pov,
but it we still need to wait for XRP to be on all exchanges with fiat gateways and its own markets.
It will happen...just need to wait.  Smiley

I'm a newbie to the forum... but have followed it for quite some time... I own less XRP than I'd like to but am in for the long haul... A piece of advice to all new comers, DO YOUR HOMEWORK! That means read up on actual news and don't succumb to the large amount of BS touted on any thread. There is a wealth of information on the website, news releases and in the previous pages that will serve to answer all of your questions if you are willing to spend the time and mental energy. There are genuine folks on this thread who have made it easy, with their efforts, to educate yourself on what is really happening here. Thank you HODOR and MEMBERRIES for all of the time and effort you've put out here. HODL.

If you read carefully the last 6 replies you will see that the posts are the same with different usernames. MODS CAN YOU REMOVE THIS SPAM?
People trying to get information here and not 10 reasons not to buy xrp

im of the firm belief that 90% of BTC FUD and negative posts is account farmers. I learned from the deeponion scam accusation nearly 10 newbie accounts ranked up in that thread alone. A thread created on bullshit. Not surprised to see here these newbies posting shit just to farm farm farm. I mean, once you see a haters post, they instantly have support, so post post post to farm on baby. Idiots.

long live xrp, all shit/fud posters will eat their words soon regarding posting shit about ripple.
