Yup, those that have bought at the peak are still at loss and it's on them why they're holding it until now. They're still at most of their money loss with XRP and they have to wait for it.
While for the other coins, it's true that many of them are also sitting in losses and even much more because the coin they've bought aren't known and probably made a rug pull which has no way of recovery.

I don't know if when will the battle of XRP versus SEC will end. This one seems taking forever. Are XRP investors not bored about it? And what if their wait is not worth it because XRP could also lose the battle?

I think it will only cause them a total disappointment and possibly more losses because the value of XRP can surely drop after that and then it may get delisted later on but in case XRP wins, then congrats but I don't know if there are increases that will happen after that because I know that a lot of people are not a fan of this coin even before. @shawon01 if an exchange buys a crypto then the value of that crypto will rise, not fall.

Its easy, really...potential gains are much bigger than risks

Anyway, when it comes to XRP the price has been very stable ever since the fightback started when the Securities and Exchange Commission in the USA. It dropped initially before recovering and hovering to the $0.80 for a long time.

It still is a good investment which will only rise providing they come to an arrangement with the SEC or they win the case. XRP is still the 6th-8th biggest crypto by market cap and if it can settle the case against it here is nothing holding XRP back from breaching the $1+ then the all time high of around $3.80.
