Of course you're right that Bitcoin is more reliable. But Ripple can make a profit if you buy a coin now, at such a good price. I think that the chances of a price increase several times next year are quite high.

Price of each xrp depends on how much xrp shitcoins xrp devs are dumping. A fair price of xrp shitcoin will be set when many people notice how useless xrp shitcoin is. Fair price is a little bit above 0$

I'm not confident about xrp price at all because it's shit.

Ripple’s Xpring Looks to Build XRP DeFi Products With New Acquisition

Ripple has made its first move towards building decentralized finance (DeFi) products based on XRP.

With its acquisition of decentralized payments platform Logos Network, Ripple’s investment arm, Xpring, will add nine New York-based engineers. Logos founder and CEO Michael Zochowski will become Xpring’s “Head of DeFi Products.” Xpring did not disclose the price of the deal.

You see whales moving large amounts because it's one of the top 3 coins and one of the only "living" 3 coins.
The other coins are either dead or sleeping! You see whales in BTC and ETH too

As the team own the big amount of the XRP, speculations about this coin will never stop. 

At least it recovered slightly. Unfortunately at time writing this Bitcoin has fallen by to below $8000 when it was trading above $10,000 just a few days ago.

All crypto prices seem to have taken a hit.

September Outlook On Ripple

Despite doing some good business for itself, Ripple Labs has so far found it difficult to transmit the same results into its native crypto. Like many other altcoins, Ripple (XRP-USD) has found itself on the back foot in its pairing with BTC and has struggled to gather bullish momentum. So, what does September 2019 hold for XRP/BTC?

Bakkt and BTC has nothing to do with poor and worst XRP performance.

XRP dropped just after Coil announcment to be granted 1B XRP, than CEO had to do useless moves to "fight FUD".

Thing is that retailers not stupid and everyone aware that as of time all what Ripple does is dumps XRP through numerous channels, acts as VC by investing in XRPL not related projects. That is fact. The irony is:

- BtC got Bakkt, physical actual use of it with visibility on volumes.
- XRP got xRapid, no visibility on volumes.

So we can laugh on Bakkt failure, meanwhile xRapid, so called production use case, fails more.

It seems like one big, important part of the last rally was driven by hopes for a big BAKKT adoption which would bring fresh money in.
Those who bought for this reason would sell after BAKKT anyway.
I guess many have also shorted BTC with paper money because of a disappointing launch and here we are, everything falling lower and lower thanks to an awesome 70% BTC dominance.

If people were more diversified, they wouldn't suffer so much from paper shorts!

XRP Recovers from Dip to $0.21, But Analysts Expect Further Losses

XRP, which plunged to unprecedented lows yesterday, has posted a relatively strong recovery from these lows, but analysts are now noting that the crypto is likely to see further downwards pressure in the near-term.

In my opinion there was no hype in the first place, so the five days of decline means nothing. XRP is still the 3rd largest crypto by market capital and regularly trades hundreds of millions in 24 hour volumes.

From here onwards I am looking at the end of year price and personally would be satisfied with $0.35 considering the way the price has bounced around this year.

Yes $0.26 is support but its most likely going to break next time around it gets tested. The $0.25 area of support was formed back in Aug 13 2018 and has been tested many many times and each time had a bounce, however this reminds me of what happened with BTC in the $6000 support area.

$6000 was strong support also, it held many many times but each bounce wouldn't close higher than the previous and this is what is happening with XRP right now. I was/am still expecting $0.40 area before it heads back down towards the $0.25 area and I still have a small long open.

However keep in mind that when $0.25 breaks, we will see the price in the teens very shortly after.
