This argument of 'they will use Ripple but not XRP' has been going on for years. A couple of years ago I would post lengthy explanations as to why it is absolutely the case that XRP will be used. But I got tired of posting these explanations over and over again.

Yes they will use XRP. A small amount of research will reveal why. I wish people would look into it a bit more.

You know, you can use any vehicle on the roads. Ask yourself why the roads are full of cars rather than say skateboards. Why do people choose cars, when they can use any vehicle? Why will people use XRP on Ripple when they can just use a different coin?

For those who might have not got it, this is sarcasm! We don't really ask for "more selling"! x)
But people should really realize this is not as bad as some people make it sound. XRP doesn't create new coins like BTC/ETH and almost all other coins do. Instead there's a constant supply which is controlled by a smart contract.
Comparing the supply flow of XRP with BTC and ETH, it's not that much different. Some months it's lower, some months it's higher.

The escrow account was unlocked (smart contract) but Ripple is not going to sell like previous this amount of XRP to the market (OTC or programmatic sales). Pls, read the quarterly report.

I can agree, xrp shittoken is only used to generate profits for xrp labs by dumping it. Only purpose of xrp shittoken. But I'm happy to see, people are doing research now, get out and make ripple REKT.

I don't know how to feel about it, but it's probably a good thing.
I don't plan to support a community take over, but I won't be against it either!


On one side there's the community which "wants" something, but they are not in a position to view the big picture and the 99% of the community are not professionals on the matter of investement and developement; therefore they can't know what's good for them, they just ask for whatever would increase the value of their holdings in the short-term.

On the other side we have a company which needs to be reminded that their lifeblood is their community, they need to respect it and listen to it.
If a threat for a takeover is going to make them better, then that's fine, let it be that way!


For those reasons I'm saying I find this action good for the project but I stay neutral regarding which I support.

RippleNet doesn't ALWAYS use XRP, but it can use it depending on the customer's deal.

I don't mean to be offensive here (just a bit sarcastic), but maybe you need to step up your research as well?!

People confuse ripplenet with actual xrp usage. It's really sad that people don't do their research. Ripplenet doesnt use xrp..

Bold part is even more true for BTC and many other coins. However, if XRP would get real adoption, price has to go up for purely
practical reasons...it would not be practical to make billion USD worth transactions using XRP at current price

Truly, you can, in fact, make more, I understand that. In any case, the reason you can make more is that it occurs. So it doesn't clarify why it occurs. bit like "what was first? the turkey or the egg? the egg obviously"
My hypothesis is that its equitable custom in light of the fact that "different coins do it".
