Hey people

Do you know someone how many transactions per second can Spectre do at this moment, and planing for future ? Thx
I am preparing a note, about the capabilities of the Spectrecoin network.
Now I will answer you very quickly.
To start, this network works 10 times faster than Bitcoin, with this you can already see,
10 times more operations than Bitcoin.
For the future, we plan, a network with a safe operation for our remittance app,
and with capacity to completely replace Bitcoin if necessary.

0.25 BTC reward for best Spectre graphics sticker design! Get involved now!

https://twitter.com/harv_w16/status/874372216426831872

I sent a design in slack
I ll make it also in dark blue - similar to original logo (for the same design).
The design is only one color only to make the sticker easier (and usualy cheaper).

I ll try but too bad I dont know how to upload here Smiley

Here the images are put, using a link
I think it works by just putting the link.
In the editor there is a symbol to insert image.

ATTENTION: I respond to a very repeated question:
Can you give me a calculation formula for staking?
Well it is as simple as this, in a first consideration.
If we call N to the expected XSPEC number, then:
N XSPEC = {[(0.05 * X) / 12] / 30.5}
( ) = Annual amount
[ ] = Monthly amount
{ } = Daily amount
Example: 10000 XSPEC
X = 10000
N ( ) = 500
N [ ] = 41.66667
N { } = 1.36612

What is that formula used for?

Just wondering, because it doesn't factor in the fact that a lot of XSPEC holders don't participate in the staking 24/7, and some not at all, which means more staking rewards for those who do.  Because of this, staking rewards accumulate at a much higher annual rate than 5% of the coins available for staking.

Can you help please how to stake?

Click on the padlock icon near the top right of your wallet.  Enter your pass phrase, make sure the box next to "For staking only" is checked, then hit "Okay."  Your wallet is now unlocked for staking, and will begin staking automatically.  (Newly received coins may need to mature for a day or so before they are available for staking, not sure.)  Staking will continue automatically until you either lock or close the wallet, or lose your internet connection.

The problem is i downloaded the wallet they've posted from first paste from windows x64 i get this error
https://ibb.co/nM038Q.

the procedure entry point_create_locale could not be located in the dynamic link library msvcrt.dll . Any idea how to fix this?

I have no idea about that.  I've never gotten that error statement.  I would try the Spectre support channel on Slack.  There are some pretty helpful, tech savvy folks over there.

Yes thanks @leobitman on slack helped me out, said it should work in 1.1 which it does. Said version 1.3 should fix it

So the effective stake rate is much much less, in my wallet it runs about 10% less, than your formula would lead someone to believe.
Trust me, i wish it WAS like this....i'd have a pretty nice daily stake rate.
Cheers.

That's odd.  Do you keep your wallet open for staking 24/7?  If not, that might explain why you have such a low stake rate.

When I keep mine open 24 hrs, my daily stake rate is roughly 2 1/2 times that formula - give or take.

That makes a few assumptions that don't quite pan out in real time.
You're assuming that someone is staking at an "annual" rate of 5% (or .05) times what the wallet says their stake "weight" is...then dividing by 12 months, then dividing that monthly number by average days per month 30.5 (anyone ever been divorced knows that figure lol) as what the daily "stake reward".

unfortunately it doesn't play out that way......because every wallet that's open and staking (as jbg said on slack) is competing for the generated block release. some go to the wallet that gets it first....like its "orphaned" to the others.

So the effective stake rate is much much less, in my wallet it runs about 10% less, than your formula would lead someone to believe.

Does staking only work in their wallet or in exchange too?
