Why did the moderators mess with the signature post? Are we not allowed to have signatures posted?

I have never seen that being a problem before. Just ask mprep about it. Normally you are getting a message that contains the reason for the deletion.

I will ask. They also deleted this post w/ a development update. Why did they delete this post?

Perhaps the POS rewards should be modified to have 4% or 4.5% as is, and .5 or 1% go into a development fund? This would help sustain the project long term.
very nice idea

It's an interesting idea, but has some bad taste to it IMO ... it's not how a "currency" should work. I don't think devs will do it. The current plan is to let people fund the development of specific features that they want most, which is an even better idea IMO!  Wink Personally I would donate even more than 5% of my funds per year to fund development. This way, it is guaranteed that the devs work for the money they get, and develop things that are actually useful and wanted by the community.

Great work, Mandica!  Thank you for the updates and the signature codes.  Great to see that the dev team is still active and committed as ever.  From my perspective, this coin has life-changing long term potential and is grossly undervalued right now.

You all have to vote using the poll otherwise it will not be registered.

Re. devs.
There are 3 devs working now to develop the code. @jbg, @speqtr (Alexander MISHIN), both on Slack but not registered here on Bitcointalk, and @mammix2 (dev of BitcoinPlus, Boostcoin etc.). I (@spectreproject on Slack) and @jbg are the official contacts and spokes persons for the project. @lulworm has taken a hiatus and I am concentrating on PR / contacts at the moment whilst I am recovering from an illness. @jbg will be responsible for the code work and release of v.1.3 and we will all work together to release v.1.4. The mobile apps will come but the core code will need some updates. We have also attracted another dev, @ediston on Slack (not sure if he is here) who will be helping out in due time.

I have also secured some funding and the community has offered some funding, so currently we have the resources and devs needed to bring this project forward.

Expect roadmap updates and website updates post v.1.3.

Thank you

Hello

Happy to see the project come to life again!

I hope that health concerns are nothing serious.

I like the logo: white square! So I'll vote white square

How many developers are working on the project?

The update should happen not earlier than August 15 , because off all the BTC games
Update before August 1st will kill the deal

Thanks for the info v.1.1 it´s running now..

We are waiting for version 1.3 that will solve the problems you have now.  Smiley
I recommend that, after this comes out, do the update, as soon as possible. (ASAP)

market is falling and almost only red now (it is turning green now with small upward movement),
if the market is bullish then the release would pump the market.

it seems not quite supporting.

STICKERS!!

Unfortunately I missed an entry to the sticker competition, so I have re-done the compilation with the additional stickers and I have reset the poll to be fair. So, for you guys who have already voted, please vote again. Sorry about that!

Vote for the sticker you like best. I will leave the voting open for a couple of weeks. You can see the individual designs in our Slack channel.

I will give it until 26/07 before we declare a winner of 0.25 BTC. We will then make some stickers as part of a PR campaign.

DEVELOPMENT UPDATE

We are close to releasing Spectre v.1.3 w/ various updates and better builds for more platforms, including Win32. The main updates involves bug fixes for sync issues experienced by some users and an updated Tor version w/ a Tor obfuscation protocol (OBFS4) that should enable Spectre to run under restrictive regimes such as in China, Iran and others.

Once v.1.3 has been released a new white paper will also be published shortly after.

Work has started on v.1.4 to further develop the integration of Tor and further updates.

@jbg (https://spectreproject.slack.com/team/jbg) and @speqtr (https://spectreproject.slack.com/team/speqtr) are the current lead developers w/ the support of others.
I am taking a step back for a few weeks due to health reasons but will spend some time on PR and generate more activity on Twitter and the blog and I am finishing off the white paper.

If you have any questions I suggest that you join us on Slack to discuss.
