I think coins are cheap enough at this point... a little activity could go a long way and would be much appreciated by all in this thread.

That's what I'm saying that the coin got listed on Bittrex which had to have cost some BTC to get it there and the premine was very small not enough to recover the BTC that it would've cost to list it on Bittrex so why would the Dev just up and abandon this project? I think that they are waiting for people to declare it dead then "poof" they will reappear with updates and shit to make people rush out to purchase while it's still cheap and then we will see some action for this coin. If I am right about what is going on with this coin I would say that easily 5k a coin will be reached if that is what is going on here

Being listed on Bittrex doesn't cost anything for most coins. They do offer listing for a fee, but the majority of coins are added simply due to demand.

Do note that price action on this coin may behave differently from others, as well, because it's merged mineable.. which means you can get it "free", by mining any scrypt coin on a pool that supports merged mining for XTR. (Like on ipoMiner!)

Would make sense to buy up as much of their own coin as they can for all the people who just continually dump it to how low it has gotten then "poof" pop right back with updates and kick ass shit to make people scramble to buy the coin when the pump happens and then the Dev will make his cash cow off of it lol

Nice theory dude it may well be true that is a good way to stock up on your own coin cheaply to be honest, what a nasty little man the dev must be to do that though! I guess most are anyway why else would he go awol for a week, think you might be right.

Could someone please provide some working nodes. You can see on the status page that our wallet is unable to get any connections, thus no deposits/withdrawals will function.

That's what I was thinking is that XTR never really pumped or got the attention yet so even if the Dev did dump the premine he couldn't of made more than 1 to 2 BTC off it and I guarantee you that to get it on Bittrex as quick as it got listed cost at least that much so the only other thing I can think is the Dev or team is mining this coin steady and waiting till they have a good stash of it to release any updates which will then send the coin into a buying frenzy and then possibly dump their coins (If that is what they are intending to do) but the premine alone was only like 52k coins I think so there is no way that they dumped it for a measly not even 1 BTC worth if you check the charts. Anyways I hope that the Dev didn't abandon this coin because with the proper marketing and the proper releases of some coin worthy features this coin should easily be 10k a coin with the limited supply that there is. That's my 2 cents anyways lol

this keeps keeps happening and someone needs to figure out how and why they keep doing this, how is it benefitting them, because its not the premine.

The only other thing I briefly thought of was that these Devs that are launching coins with smaller block rewards and abandoning their coins are owners of mining rigs that are rented through the mining rig sites and they make their profit by generating interest and people renting a bunch of their rigs to mine the coin. That's the only other logical reasoning I can see for people constantly doing this lately because since I started renting rigs I've noticed the prices of renting the rigs go up drastically since all these new coins started coming out and devs abandoning them. I dunno it's just a theory I had one day about why these devs would abandon coins they "seemed" to not have made any money off of

What do you guys think?
