https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EFXkJjgPlII

enjoy!

ps: new anon android app is ahead of schedule. should be out relatively soon =]

By the way I contacted 2 weeks ago Litebit and requested VERGE to be added

here we go!

https://www.litebit.eu/en/buy/verge

alot of people have contacted them, but it's said it's under maintenance for 2 days now lol

we'll list them once we make sure it's up and working properly.

Have a look now Smiley

Just got the desktop wallet fully sync'd and looking to move my web wallet funds over. is there somewhere I can find my private keys on the desktop wallet? or even if there's a way I can see my private keys on the web wallet (or is this more like other web wallets where the private keys are stored with the owner of the site?)

thanks!

Also just listened to the interview, you absolutely killed it. gave great examples of why certain anon features should take priority over others, especially when it comes to mainstream adoption. great job dude.

you can go into help/debug console, and type exportprivkey publicaddress
(publicaddress is where you put the address that you want the privkey to)
and the private key to that address will show up =]

hmm I'm getting "Method not found (code -32601)" though I've tried a few variations. is it literally "exportprivkey (insert public address)" ?

i dont know why i said export. its dumpprivkey publicaddress

sorry about that.

No worries, got it figured out. finally got the blocks all synced up. though sometimes opening the desktop wallet takes quite some time (5-10 minutes) on the getting block phase. and sometimes crashes/unresponsive. this is windows 10. is there any settings I should be adjusting to make it more consistent?

I think you will be fine with that transaction. My desktop wallet takes a long time to sync as well.

Go here http://vergecurrency.de/ and get the latest blockchain. Helps a lot to manually download over having the client update the blockchain.

how did you get a wallet address from the desktop wallet if you cant open?

Humpi and Dogedarkdev thanks for the replies. I will definitely look into vergecurrency.de tonight.

I can open the wallet, it just won't sync. But it at least shows me what my address is.

How can I get my windows verge wallet to show the actual balance after using the command importprivkey?? I can import the private key but then the balance displayed is still 0! What do I have to do now?

+ verge explorer is offline

yeah i dont know why prohashing is offline. try vergecurrency.info or the core wallet, it has a block explorer built in

Hey dev i had a old wallet.dat file that my have some VERGE on it so i downloaded the wallet
and changed the wallet.dat file with the old one which was from 2016 also by the way i used the
boot strap so i am guessing thats why i don't see those old transactions my question is there commands
i can try in the console to fix this?

if you put the new wallet.dat in while the wallet was shut down, and then started it back up, and you can see the right address in your receive tab, then it should be good to go.

If you already have the windows wallet just enter the transaction hash in the block explorer in the wallet

Great interview. Yesterday I submitted the request to be listed on Poloneix as well.
Can you also include some media highlights on the webpage, and include this interview link of youtube and others as well. It will give the boost.
