well if you rename the folder it will sync from the start in a new folder named VERGE, unless you change it using -datadir

That sounds normal. You should delete everything except your wallet.dat file, open the new wallet, and let it sync from scratch.

Am I the first person to pay for dinner with VERGE?

I'm on the road for work this week and went to a nice italian restaurant in SF and a good friend/colleague put our dinner on his credit card so I owed him $40ish bucks.

He showed a lot of interest in what i was telling him about VERGE, anon, multi-algo, etc. (he got it) so i offered to pay him back with X1,000,000 bucks (xvg) bought at 11 satoshis today off of bittrex.

Now he wants to buy a million more Cheesy

Maybe this was a reason.. but now the price is stable since few days. So I don't think this is the real reason, maybe some people lost their interest in this coin.

By the way, XVG now is really cheap! I'm buying again, dev got my trust!

same here xvg very cheap and all l do is buying more(target 100m) l could wait few years don t mind l m still young(late 40s)
