I'm a miner not a minor.
i use asic's   only 27mh  and i know im losing money at it, but i keep it running thru the winter, helps heat etc.

cant run it in summer, too too hot.  but i try all winter.

i cant switch to sha256 at all with that ofc.

not sure i can do any of the otehrs with this.

I used to do GPU mining  on the blakecoin setup.was interesting anyhow.

but, looks like ill have to start looking for another mining target...again.

Sad

Maybe not. multi algo is in the lead and there is a scrypt option for that so hang in there Smiley

well, in light of being hit by such massive hashpower by farms in china, i am considering changing the algo from scrypt..

im setting up a poll for the community to vote on what algo, if any, we should change to.

please vote on the poll, do not make a post, unless the algo you prefer is not on the list, in which case it will be added.

if china want xvg they can list it in china exchange and buy Wink

Digibyte uses multi-algo pretty successfully.
It opens their coin to more miners and some protection from these evil ones.

My vote as best way to go. Cool

Would you consider POS?

I believe its still pure PoW just changing the algo. PoS is a completely different beast and not decentralized.

Overall I think this is a very positive change we just need to make the best out of it and no need to rush on it.

Moreover, a multi-algorithmic implementation mitigates multipool activity, thus reducing the chance of ‘long blocks’.

Would you consider multi-algo?

yes i would, added, and poll reset

https://giftoff.com/digital-currencies

contacting them now  Grin

edit: their response was:

"Thanks for reaching out. We process non-bitcoin digital currencies via https://shapeshift.io/, so if you were accepted there we would automatically accept you too! Hope this helps."

why i must buying XVG..? any special for holding this coin..?  Undecided
#just_ask

Because a guy called Satoshi started something, and Verge has completed it.

Is your security & privacy of your future worth is something you are concerned about, then you should be holding large quantities of this crypto.

They cannot take your money if they cannot see it, or who it is sent to. Your privacy is paramount, as you see with battles within the government/s of this world to track your very move, see what you have and tell you how you can spend it. Without accessing the regular internet, possibilities with Verge are endless.

IT'S TIME TO START BUYING THIS COIN AGAIN, IT'S SETTING UP FOR A 2ND LEG UP LET'S SEE IF WE DO ANOTHER 400% All the asks are getting filled much less resistance now then few days ago. Get it while cheap

Why are you know the next big price jump?
