why i must buying XVG..? any special for holding this coin..?  Undecided
#just_ask

Because a guy called Satoshi started something, and Verge has completed it.

Is your security & privacy of your future worth is something you are concerned about, then you should be holding large quantities of this crypto.

They cannot take your money if they cannot see it, or who it is sent to. Your privacy is paramount, as you see with battles within the government/s of this world to track your very move, see what you have and tell you how you can spend it. Without accessing the regular internet, possibilities with Verge are endless.

IT'S TIME TO START BUYING THIS COIN AGAIN, IT'S SETTING UP FOR A 2ND LEG UP LET'S SEE IF WE DO ANOTHER 400% All the asks are getting filled much less resistance now then few days ago. Get it while cheap

nope nothing.  just some privacy setup, and value going up and up.

nothing to see here... Smiley

Verge is a currency used to settle payments among other things it's not an 'asset token' distributed by premine etc. its pure PoW ie. entirely decentralized. Its the only cryptocurrency (include those assets too) which is untraceable the Blackhole tech makes it impossible to trace users and wallets locations so you keep your privacy and protect the wallet against thieves, hackers, etc.. Please refer to OP for more but yes Verge is the only crypto to truly protect your privacy and your coins and most probably the best dev since Satoshi called it a day.  Wink

i cant imagine the cryptsy bitcoins/litecoins can be "recovered".

if i had to guess, paul is having a conversation with himself about it in public, so that if he returns them, he can keep the reward (which i think is like 20%?!)

its not possible to "recover" coins sent to an address you don't control. you need a private key for that. or a quantum computer far superior to those in existence to obtain the privkey.

those are the only two ways to "recover" them.

so yeah, i think hes just going to give them back to himself, and keep the reward, and play it off like someone else did it.

So I'm using begminer when I log into the pool I get all pools are dead

paul, if you're reading this, we are many things, but stupid is not one of them.

I concur dev. The thing with "one man" exchanges is that sooner or later they get tempted to make the thing their "precious" and may succumb to temptation.

I installed a wallet on my tablet for Android and send coins to it how long does it take to post it's been 40 minutes

should be after the next block. http://blockexperts.com/xvg will show you the blocks as they update.

Hey how do I mine verge coin, I tried connecting to the pools and can't connect to any

what kind of miner? should be fairly easy, suprnova's stratum is xvg.suprnova.cc:4155 and you just set up a worker on their site and plug in the name.worker info. you can message me if you have a hard time and ill walk you thru it

I put this message in my sig too be funny but also as a warning about keeping coins on exchanges and pools for that matter. Neither are banks. You should keep and control your coins in your possession unless you are trading/selling them. Even then when I am done I immediately send my BTC back to my wallet. Even if it is 0.01 BTC.

I hold my coins on bittrex are they safe there ?

I would suggest you hold it yourself any exchange is safe until something happens.

That's why everyone should always make sure to hold their coins in their own wallets unless they are trading it on daily basis why people trust a third party they never met in person more than they trust themselves is not plausible.

All my coins are into my wallet. safe or?
Is there a way of hacking an individual wallet or a virus stealing your coins?
If you took the right steps to protect your wallet.dat and don't download malware spyware etc. everything is safe.
