Im amazed... Pornhub controls the porn industry, which rakes in according to certain reports, around $97 Billion Dollars a year.

80 Million Users go to Porn Hub, paying not paying, etheir way, its a lot of traffic. which is great exposure For Verge Coin....... $3000 Dollars is spent PER SECOND on Porn... do the math...

MindGeek, the parent company of Porn hub, Brazzers, Reality Kings, Nutuka, and a few other sites, make up the 3rd largest band with used in the world... Google & Netflix are the top two...

This is not a little partnership between a little known company and a coin promising the moon.

There is an option to already purchase premium packages from pornhub with Verge... so its not on paper, its actually being used to do transactions.

So my reckoning is that now that a person that doesnt have to give out any credit card details or phone numbers to safely watch premium porn.... will buy Verge and pay with that rather.

I just don't understand the key reason why anyone might be pissed in terms of a partnership together with Pornhub. All people on the planet recognizes what Pornhub is.

Actually that is how the game works, while someone wins on the exchange someone else has to lose.

Every FOMO newbie that makes his trading decisions only due some hype and forgets due greed to exit at a good point
is just a bad trader and .... deserves just that, be it as a lesson that too much greed or emotions are not good while trading.

For smart traders this was for sure a good option to make some extra bucks, i'am happy as well :-)

At least Verge should not fall back to 0.3 but could stay in the 0.05 - 0.08 range in my opinion, so it could have been worse
for the XVG holders.

This is a great example of why these projects need to stop announcing annoucements of announcements. I wonder how many newbies FOMO’d into this at the top and will now never make their investment back. It’s pretty obvious why dev teams keep doing it. Theyre obviously dumping their bags on people. It’s really not natural to have a coin crash 40% in a day unless 1) There’s something wrong with the network (ie. like a 51% attack which sadly Verge has already had), or 2) The dev team orchestrated this pump with coming announcements of nothing but crap and suckered newbies in and now they’re dumping their bags on everybody. Stop making pre-announcements and just come out with news. It’s really not difficult. Moving onto another project that actually doesnt have 51% attacks and has ethics.

The association with an adult site sure has its negative connotations.

HOWEVER, this is one path which leads towards adoption. The adult industry has on several occasions proven to show the way for innovation and new technology adoption. Examples are DVDs and VR.

I wouldn't suggest using adult sites as a promotional argument for cryptos ( ha ha) but it still counts as a solid use case.

I don't understand why this is so big. The only thing i can come up with is the anonymity and the few new people that gonna hear about Verge. For me this is a big dissapointment. New people really don't gonna buy Verge for this. They have their normal and standard daily payment ways. Its not very easy for new people to get Verge and they Will keep using their trusted payment ways. So I don't see the big thing here. Also the crypto world is nog big enough (yet) so I don't think pornhub get tons of new customers.

I also don't understand why they didn't just announced the partnership. I think the effect of a normal Message would be a lot more positive Andy would increase the price. Maybe it woul'd reach the same price als now, but investors would be lots less dissapionted.Hypes like this kill the coin.
