I think it's a potential coin in the future. It's worth for investors to considering. If you consider DOGE as the main asset for long-term storage, I would advise you to pay attention to other currencies.
it still difficult to see this is the year of the doge because doge still at the lower price and still need time to increase higher again. I think doge will compete with bcn which has almost the same price. and if we take a look in the buy order and sell order in that coin, we can see that people use a big money to buy this coin and it means, the chance to that coin to increase will be wide open. and I hope that those coin can increase more than 100 satoshi again like the last year.
This coin has only 2 advantages, the first one - is traded on almost any exchange and the second one is a very low transaction cost of only 1 doge. There is no other advantages for this coin, it is used as a transit coin.
And it has near instantaneous confirmation times. That advantage shouldn't be discounted.The huge glaring disadvantage is that there are an unlimited amount of coins to be mined, and even though the inflation rate decreases, total supply does not. I think that's why doge hasn't increased in price. True there have been times where it reached 120 satoshi or whatever, but there has been no long term growth.
The second disadvantage is that the coin's name is very corny and is based on a meme. If wall street investors start investing in crypto, do you really think they're going to buy doge? It isn't very likely in my opinion. I don't mind it, but I think many investors do.
Doge have no potential and positive news . I don't think Doge will grow up. Take a look at the other altcoins

there are many hype on doge but what that people do only to get profit for themself. but for who really know what is doge, they will know what that coin purposes and why it is created. and right, dogecoin is not really good for investment

I don't think this is the year of Doge because it's an old coin and there is no big change on the chart price so that means that coin isn't potiental as they're saying.

I don't think doge will change much this year. Sure it might see some growth but for the long term, I think a better coin will replace it eventually.

since I know, doge has not seen a significant movement but doge is an old coin that can survive until now, and everyone with little money can have a doge, still like years before I think doge is not very prospected.

-Although this year,is year of the dog,,(doge)but think twice before invested, because every kind of investment are risk and gamblers and some people evaluate the facts and make decision afterwards.-Its hard to predict for you to invest in doegcoin,,but if you like to tried why not,,,,maybe you can go to short term method,,because I'm not sure dogecoin will grow in the future and long run to market,due to I'm not very convinced that could beat to others,on other hand investment is extremely risky in general if a person doesn’t have a huge knowledge and lots of patience.

There are a lot of other promising altcoins . I think doge is not a good idea for investment
although Dogecoin is one of the first crypto in the market, it is still not a good coin which has clear vision and mission. It is established for fun and I do not think it can help investors get high profit
I find it funny , the year of the doge ?) no of course, this coin has nothing to affect the price
investors in cryptographic currencies will understand how successful and foreseeable the project will be when they do a genetic analysis. I think the current prices are a great opportunity. it will show a rise this year.
