Well someone didn't like us finding a block, there was a brief DDoS on the pool, but it only lasted 5 minutes. Not sure if mining was interrupted at all but everything's fine now. Keep on mining.

Wonder who that could of been  Huh Huh Huh

Non-custodial BTC Wallet
It was a 25% chance

SoloChance.com
Chance per block: 1 in 609
Chance per day: 1 in 4
Time estimate: 4 days

Where can you rent so much power? And what will that cost? I think 2-3 BTC, Crazy!
I think on NiceHash not possible and of you will Rent 200 PH the Price will skyrocket...

You're most welcome and congratulations. It takes serious balls to throw that much hashrate at solo mining and it paid off for you.

Nice quick propagation too on the solo server, with only 70ms required from the bitcoin daemon to fully validate the block.

Thanks for keeping us updated, I am sure it will run perfectly, I read Kano's comment which was a response to yours, and as usual hey is just trying to make everything about ckpool look bad, he does this to many other pools, anyway, it's great that you wanted to double-check.
Thank you mikeywith.

After testing the ckpool passthrough in proxy mode, and 10 found blocks where
corectly tranfered to the main pool, I consider that as save to go back public.

I continue with this service from now on.
Please note that this passthrough add an extra latency during transfer to the pool.

Those blocks where found during the test, and you can verify it at tbtc.com if you like:
Code:
01: 1892389
02: 1892204
03: 1892149
04: 1892062
05: 1891851
06: 1891742
07: 1892539
08: 1892595
09: 1892636
10: 1892672

Now I will test the ckpassthrough in node mode, because that would be a great improvement.
I let you know the result, as soon as I know it.

Noticed something. I am mining to two addresses, one a bech32 and one a legacy 1xxx address. The number of shares submitted reported by the site for the bech32 address is constantly showing 6 zeros on the end, e.g. 39402000000, while for the legacy address it doesn't, e.g. 16763553698. Is this a reporting difference between the two type of addresses?

I just wanna say I've been using this pool for a really long time, Never solved a block but that's okay, my miners keep running.
Just wanted to say thanks CK, I really learned how to mine pretty much with this site. I hope you keep it up until the end. At least we can continue to play the bitcoin lotto. Thanks!  Smiley

be constructive or S.T.F.U
I will let that run for a few days, and if that runs flowlessly I would consider that safe to go back online.
I keep you informed.

Due to a comment about the passthrough function of ckpool,

You posted a lot in that thread also. Any special reason why you ignored my post and are getting people to mine through that buggy code you are running?

I will Inform you that I stop this service now for a while until I have fully tested the proper function.
Therefor I will use my S9 and my local testnet and ckpool as well as the used passthrough server to find out
if there are any issue with it in conjunction with using AB.

As soon as I know what the results are, I let you know if I can continue that service or not.

Update:
My test run a couple of hours now, and it found the first block using the latest source of ckpool from bitbucket.
The miner (S9 with AB) is connected over a second instance of ckpool in passthrough mode.
Proof:  https://tbtc.bitaps.com/1891742

I will let that run for a few days, and if that runs flowlessly I would consider that safe to go back online.
I keep you informed.

Think for yourself
For a few months now I receive from time to time the message in cgminer: `missing nonces; toggling ASIC to reset`
After approximately 1.5 secs its hashing again. Does anybody know whether this error is pool sided or caused by my mining hardware?
I have 2 Gekkoscience NewPac Miners on an RPi 4.

Try posting in the Newpac thread for support.  I would probably try to lower the frequency and/or increase cooling.
