A little history from 2015, I seen philipma1957 was renting hash to try and hit blocks. I messaged him asking if I put up some BTC that we could rent together and split. (check my trust from then) I sent Phil 3.5 BTC and he did all the work renting from NiceHash. Before we knew it others wanted to join. We settled on max of 10 people and we hit some blocks and came out ahead I think. It was fun times back then.

Hope I'm not speaking out of turn here, but here are the basics [as far as I know]:
BlockParty is the name of a series of group [hashrate] rentals, where participants send the person organizing these rentals [Willi] their BTC.

If a Block is found the Block Reward is shared proportionately based on participant's entry level [ie if you sent .01 BTC and the total BlockParty amount raised/used in the rental is .15 BTC, you would get 1/15 of the total BTC Reward of 3.xx BTC].

Over the past several [6-8?] years, BlockParty rentals have hit [I believe] 10 Blocks and have a history of paying out to all participants, at least from what I've read and seen here (over the past 18 months of following/monitoring this forum).

The ports are all on the same IP addresses so that won't change anything. What I suspect is happening is your DNS is defaulting to IPV6 if you support it and then failing. You can force either IPV6 or IPV4 by using solo6.ckpool.org or solo4.ckpool.org
