Congratulations to miner 3Hy8NDHMAzBodX1j67zHA7AcsPu9iCMsfV with a massive 150PH for solving the 293rd solo block at solo.ckpool.org!

Congrats to the lucky miner!

With the new 95.6T Difficulty, it almost seems like 150PH of today [currently 1 in 31 days odds of a Block] is like 30-40PH of my first days here 2-3 years ago.

Willi, if you're thinking of organizing another BlockParty count me in for 2x more

Good luck everyone, lets see if we can somehow manage to get mega-lucky and hit that ultra rare back-to-back Blocks for the pool!

So many numbers and so little time
There was a small frontend mistake with network diff calculations for CKPool Stats.  This will be fixed, but all the stored data is correct, so once the fix is pushed it shouldn't show any interruption in the stats history.
The bug effects the main page updating, so may be delayed a bit for now; the network difficulty number, and the odds of finding a block.
Sorry for the inconvenience, first time handling a new block found that highlighted the issue.

Not a problem, thanks for keeping us updated.  Smiley

It looks like our new stats page for the pool has gone on the blink following the block solve. User statistics still seem intact. Please use the basic text stats in the meantime if needed as it may take me a few days to be able to update the stats server.

I'm mining Bitcoin solo and have connected my GTS 1650-based ccminer (CUDA) to the solo CK pool. The stratum difficulty was fixed at 10,000, and my miner wasn't hashing. However, yesterday the stratum difficulty was set to 1 for a few minutes, and my miner started hashing. I have some screenshots of this. Today, though, the stratum difficulty is back to 10,000. Does anyone know why this is happening?

You're wasting your time/energy, you should read "3." of the following link:

https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/bitcoin-mining-intro-rules-of-this-subforum-read-before-posting-2415854

3. Mining BITCOIN is done exclusively with dedicated BITCOIN mining hardware based on ASICs - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Application-specific_integrated_circuit . You CAN NOT meaningfully mine bitcoin today with CPU, GPU or even FPGAs. Bitcoin difficulty adapts to match the amount of mining done on the network and has reached levels trillions of times too high to mine meaningfully with PCs, laptops, tablets, phones, webpages, javascript, GPUs, and even generalised SHA hardware. You will not find software in this section to help you mine bitcoin in this absurdly inefficient manner in this subforum. It would cost you thousands of dollars in electricity per year to earn only a few cents in bitcoin. Even if you combined all the computers in the world, including all known supercomputer, you would not even approach 0.1% of the bitcoin hashrate today. Any discussion outside of ASIC related mining, except in the interests of academia, will be moved to the altcoin mining section. There isn't any point attempting to mine bitcoin with CPU or GPU even in the interests of learning as it shares almost nothing with how bitcoin is mined with ASICs and will not teach you anything.

TL/DR Summary:
 - You CANNOT meaningfully mine bitcoin with your PC or laptop no matter how powerful it is.
 - You CANNOT meaningfully mine bitcoin with your tablet or phone no matter how powerful it is.
 - Mining apps for your phone or tablet that claim to mine bitcoin are almost certainly scams.
 - You CANNOT find software here to mine bitcoin with your PC by itself.
 - You MIGHT be able to do one of the above with altcoins, but such discussion goes into the altcoin mining section.
 - You CANNOT find or post software here to mine on other peoples' PC without their permission.

Hello everyone,
I just recently got 2 lucky miners in my possession, and wanted to join this pool. However after a great start and devices started hashing, they just stopped working or are acting weird. Am I missing something?
Thanks in advance.

This is a pool thread, not the hardware section.
Please repeat your question under Mining Hardware and open a lucky miner topic.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=76.0

and consider the writing from blockhiltop:
Unfortunately more info is needed to be of any help here (ie what miners are you using, for how long have you been successfully using them, etc.).
You say they suddenly stopped working, or acting weird (is it overheating, making new sounds, etc) - could be a manufacturing issue w/your miners or local issue to your site (Internet, heat).
Other useful info (if we are to be of any help):
Do you see your miners at your wallet address?
If so, are your miners successfully submitting shares?
If so, are they hashing at the expected rate/speed?
Pardon for not providing more tangible advice/help right now, but there just not enough info..

Yes both _ and . are allowed, I tried to make the pool flexible since there were different standards at the time.

Okay, pushing an update now to handle that and add worker table sorting

I've had to upgrade the stats server VPS resources a bit more again today, and stats were down for a bit during the upgrade. There should be plenty now to cope.

The longer scale looks good, but the dynamic sliders aren't working presently.

If I click or drag the sliders the charts go blank and the page requires a refresh to bring them back.

I know its a work in progress, so I'll keep watching and let you have feedback as and when I can.

Its coming together though, thanks again for your efforts.

Thanks!  Yeah, still testing it, what browser are you using?

There appears to be another minor bug illustrated by the block party worker (bc1qprzt4ks2ne8s7pfazgwxu59kgxj9j6j6ekful7_blockparty71)
The worker view is labelled Unnamed Worker. Is using "_" as the delimiter the issue?

Yeah, '.' is expected to be the separator.  I didn't see where it says '_' is allowed, just '.'

@ck, i mean a "_" underline is allowed and is working, if i see the stats are working.

I've updated the solostats page and added ssl support. I needed to increase the resources on the VPS as it was low on ram but seems fine now. If it runs out of resources in the future I'll just scale it further. It's been working quite reliably now so please feel free to use it if you want graphical stats.

Its working great. Thanks for the work you've done on it.
