pool: stratum + tcp: //solo.ckpool.org: 3333

Do I still have to do something? Click to set? How to check if lotto works?
Connection status is connected, but nothings happen in miner status... its that ok?
This is my first contact with miners..

Nope)) Next May it will turn 2years since I started trying my luck here. Back in 2016 it was sometimes even with a single s7. I call it "my personal Friday lottery". I treat the loss in my regular mining hashrate as buying a weekly lottery ticket, as the chances of hitting the jackpot and finding a solo block are similar, but here you can be sure that the distribution of "winning numbers" is mathematically fair and random. How good would a friday block be now after that statement. I think for a lot of small miner here wishing on the chance to find 12.5 coins with them at now 10k that is 125,600USD for someone like me that would be a life changing sum of money.

I see we now have segwit address support I do not know enough about it to change from the Original format address.
I did see on blocktrail in past blocks around 0.251kb is this dew to segwit only transactions being included in past blocks.
508175 BTC.TOP 7 days 13 hours ago segwit 0.285 kB blocks look empty on reflection.

I'm planning to restart the pool within the next hour for pool and bitcoind updates to make it compatible with native segwit (bech32 addresses starting with bc1). As always, assuming all goes well there should be only minimal downtime.
Restart completed uneventfully. This pool now supports bech32 addresses. These are currently available on only electrum wallet by default, but the next version of bitcoin core due out, 0.16.0, will be able to natively support them. These are native segwit addresses that start with bc1 instead of 1x or 3x (eg bc1qw508d6qejxtdg4y5r3zarvary0c5xw7kv8f3t4), and the advantage of native segwit addresses is they take up less blockchain space making transactions that use them slightly smaller and thereby having a very slight decrease in transaction fee.
