Yobit is originally located in Russia and when you search this forum and the internet you see many people who are complaining about them. They were recently under investigating in Russia for fraudulent activities.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cryptocurrency-exchange-yobit-investigated-in-russia-on-fraud-claims

When I just started with trading I did use Yobit and still have some small amounts of crypto on their website, also have a large amount of wealth coins but this will take years to sell since this is rise only market.

Not recommend to keep funds on their website don't expect this website will last forever.

Basing on their performance and current or previous issue then i would say that this exchange wont last long.Im even surprises that they are still up to now inspite on the problems they were facing.
I wont really be surprised that this one will close its doors which would just really be a deserving thing to happen in them. Lots of threads about yobit issues and these things continue even into these recent days.

The active and oldest thread had been locked and I like to ask how effective is the new designed pump and dump on yobit is. Everyone is trying every means, I hope it is done with with good coins on the exchange not shitcoin.

if in my opinion, there is nothing to troubleshoot if for security in yobit. yobit problem, most only its fee that is very big if in my opinion. but it is comparable to the comfort offered in yobit

first of all Yobit is however gave no problem to me in deposits and withdrawal . but my 1 friend has a coin stucked there from many months and when they resolved it prices fall down dramatically .
regarding reliability they have no team face shown on website or twitter . so cant say who is behind it .

but main thing is whether yobit is reliable or not , but it is always said that store your coins in your personal wallet . exchanges have cheated many people in past and others were hacked . so once such thing happen they will file for bankruptcy and customer will be only victim .

Yobit is very specific exchange so be very cautious when before depositing your crypto and fiat to it.

Can someone explain to me what is meant by the Token ID, when you try to list an erc20 token on their exchange ?

Do mean to say about contract address which is alloted while they creating the smart contract. I did not get you what you are trying say mate. Please inform us cleary what you want to know. Hope we can assist you better on that.
Tokens listing on exchange is done by by the project manager or owner of that ICO.

I have seen that token id on this link.
https://yobit.net/en/addtoken/

If I am right, that denotes the token smart contract address.

Yes that was it, thank you.

I would not trust this exchange large sums of money, but for the purposes of quickly selling tokens, it fits well. Just don't keep big depo

They have a lot of UI bugs that benefits the exchange. They have tons of negative reviews and issues like withdrawal problems, selling and buying at the wrong price with ridiculously large errors. Besides that, customer is shit, almost as if they're just picking when and who to help.
I think i need to take the risk because my token is in yobit only  Thankyou for information.

what token is that in Yobit? isn't that in other trading platform? if it's listed in other exchanges then you should first transfer them.. taking risk with your earned tokens is not a smart decision.

it is true many people who complain about yobit but until now I have never had any problems with this exchange.
and I know the volume of trading there is huge and most of the new coin is outstanding and has a huge pump potential.

Also I had only good experiences with yobit (except investbox, lol ). But independent from that, it is generally not a good idea, to store coins at any exchanger/third party service for four main reasons:
1. You could be scammed by the service / it could close its service without providing your funds back.
2. The TOS of some services f.e. poloniex, don't allow storing funds without trading/exchanging.
3. The exchanger could freeze your funds for certain reasons f.e. Bittrex suddenly demanded ID verification and has frozen funds from non verified accounts. There are several reasons f.e. changing conditions/TOS, that could lead to loss of funds.
4. Online services can be hacked easier, than offline wallets.

Good for you that you haven't any issues with Yobit but if you do try to look or see the number of people who do experience issues with this exchange then you will surely curse this exchange for sure.Even myself wont really lean back into this exchange since I do have a very horrible experience with it and I don't blame those people who do experience the same. You are actually right on those general aspect you have been mentioned which can be potentially experience even into those reputable or top exchanges.
