Maybe I am the latest victim of YOBIT

I have traded last Dec 30, 2017
BTC/USD pair.  Yielded around 226USD.
And I saw it in my balance.
Then leave the site.

When I come back yesterday Jan 2, 2018 to check my balance, its all gone!!!
I have checked all the history but no where to find where did my 226USD go...
What a Happy new year to me then..

I have make a ticket but no response.  Also, tweeted them but still no response.
Still hoping that my 226USD be able to give back to my balance...

you just created an account to post this:

Works as expected. No problems. Trades lots of different coins, even brand new ones (at the present the only option for purchasing ATB). Good user interface. Can't say anything about their support - didn't have to use it.

and has this:

Hi
I trade at yobit half a year, and they are not scammers.
I've deposited/withdrew ~100 000 during this time - no problem faced.
But i trade on BTC/RUB market only and used QIWI for payments.

seem to be the same person, however I do not advise to use yobit, if you or anyone loses money on yobi know that there will be no place to complain

You could be right - I created an account just to post this... The only thing is that I created it 3 years before you created your account.  Check the membership info:
Name:    razimih
Date Registered:    April 24, 2013, 02:53:39 PM

So I guess that addresses your point.  And no - I am not the same person.

Now - regrading yobit.net - that was just my personal experience and does not endorses or encourages anything. Yobit could well be a scam for all I care, and it's possible my transactions were the exception. In a similar way that I had pretty negative experiences with exchanges vouched by a number of people (Poloniex - see my recent posts).
However I think that more the people express what their opinion is - the more info we can get out of these forums.
Accusing members of creating fake accounts, fake identities and the likes - doesn't bring much value. I am not saying that it doesn't happen, but in this case you have the proof.

I've been using them since 2016 and had no problems, till that they did a withdrawn for me that didnt transfer any token. I opened a ticket and im waiting for 5 months already, and its a simple problem to resolve. I withdrawn all i had there and will not use them anymore.

i`ve to say sorry.
After weeks of complaining yobit.net gave me a new password.

So they are not a bunch of scammers but they are incredible slow. Roll Eyes

I heard news that "YOUbit" in Koreea got hacked and filed for bankrupcy, that is NOT "YObit", right ?

nah, it's something else. Yobit is Russian exchange.

No youbit is different from yobit registered in moscow. Yobit has so many withdrawal/deposit complaints that haven't been resolved for months. Stay away from yobit if you want to keep your money

I know a lot of people trading daily on yobit and nobody had any issues. Volume is fairly small, but exchange is legit.

i've tried personally messaging yobit support in their telegram: https://t.me/yobitnet/3509
the admin in the room saw my personal message shown by double ticks.
but he hasnt replied in 3hrs. i also noticed he replies to any other questions but not ones related to
real problems people have on yobit. however another admin on their telegram did assist someone with problems
withdrawing their funds once.

So i think that while yobit may not be a scam their tech support is severely lacking. they should find new recruits
for support soon because i dont think anyone will feel safe trading on yobit if this lack of support continues.

I opened an account at Yobit.io at the beginning of this year and played with it for a little while. I opened it because they where giving away free coins and sometime even interesting one like EOS and even 0,000000001BTC if you waited 24hrs. I collected a lot of PWC some LTC, 0,00000001BTC, some EOS and others which I don't remember. Well...after a while I got interested in other things and forgot about my Yobit account. A week ago I tried to log-in again to check what happened to my account but access was denied. The day after I tried again but access was denied again. I sent two e-mails to the support team and still waiting to be supported. Beware
Collecting those free coins isn't bad but it would really just a waste up of time considering that there are lots of coins being given but most of them or all of them are just pure trash. Only slim chances would do have get some value. Yobit is being famous on having the title of worst support ever which means don't expect that they would answer you directly or responsive on any problems on the site because they wouldn't really reply at all.

The following is from a perspective of a newbie who started crypto a mere 4-5 day ago.

Two Complaints
Their customer service is non-existent, with no one ever responding to a ticket. It's very disheartening went you're experiencing issues and see no one responding.

The second issue is that the withdrawal system is exceptionally bad relative to other exchangers taking nearly 3-20 times longer on average. Most of the time is spend waiting for them to manually approve my coin before sending it.  The two famous coins ,LTC+BTC, face the opposite issue with them getting approved quickly but takes forever to confirm. ..probably due to poor hash/b rate.I'm personally in limbo right now due to them taking forever to transfer my BTC thanks to their very low 290s hash/b.

In conclusion, they're not scams but the results of their non-action  make the result more/less the same. I've lost several huge opportunities that could've increased my profit by 2-3 folds if their transfer rate matches the competitors.

Stay away,

newbie

I just checked the password reset feature.

Its marked as disabled.

I am assuming people have been spamming or trying to abuse this feature and its being addressed..... that's my best guess.

In the past, I have used the feature and successfully reset my password.

So I would say at the worst, sign up for a new account, and submit a support ticket asking when the password support feature will be put back online.

Waiting for Weeks to reset my Password.
If they don`t fix it in the next days, i'll be foreced to press charges against them.
What happened? Are you hacked? If you lost your password it's your negligence and not yobit though they are really poor when it comes to supporting their users and I'm also pissed off with them already. Stop using them if you don't want to have those worst feeling of withdrawal and other support queries. Always review people's experience and keep on reading traders point of view on this exchange.
No, just forgot it but they don't offer any option to generate a new one.
I would like to stop using them but there is real money on this account.

If they don't offer to generate a new one, I feel sorry about it man there's no way to please them and keep on asking them but you can still try and try it again for somehow. Just stop using them and do you mind to tell me how much you've got on them? They are very popular throughout the entire forum but still they are getting some outside people who loves to trade with them but with our experiences combining them all, it's not worth to use them any longer.

I often do not use Yobit, but I can´t say it's a scam. With yobit, I have good and bad experiences. One time was not a withdrawal of the BTC, I had to convert to other coins and only then to withdraw, so I solved it this way. Then the payout transaction took almost a day. But I also have good experience. Support always worked for me and they always answered me. Also, the yobit had a higher coin price than at other exchanges. I use Yobit only if necessary.

You are right which Yobit doesn't have any involvement if you do lose up your password since it is really a users negligence why he do such lose such account password but you can anytime reset it since you do have the valid informations keep on those times that you are just registering but if you don't have those credentials then most likely you aren't the owner of such account and theres nothing you can do on making such access on it.Yobit isn't a scam but on their past and current issues it can be considered that they are scam.

So they are liable for your loss of password?  I think not...

I'm sure there's more to the story than what you are saying.

WTF are you talking about?
I forgot my PW, this is not their fault, true. But they don't allow me to reset it for almost 7 weeks now. Their reset-button isn't working and they don't offer me any option to get my access back.

Sorry, i don't wanted to be rude but this situation really frustrating.
Initial i was a big fan of them, promoted them in my inner circle and just wanted to log back in to buy more coins but this password-reset-thing made me really think.
