A skilled trader enjoys the market more than an investor. Past graphical history of cryptocurrency market will show you this. A trader has no emotions an investor does have because when in profit they don't take gains except their investment target is met a trader will ride all waves to stay profitable if a trader has been trading Btc since this year he's in profit more than an investment made this year alone.

There is no way to tell which is more successful than the other and both trading and investing have their losses as well, you have to be very sure of your trading skills before you decide to give a try and a well known enemy called 'greed' will be standing next to you, for investing you need to be very careful too because of scam projects of nowadays, for safer choice invest on old coins

Firstly thanks to all for reading my topic.

Who has had more success in this crypto market?
1. Traders
2. Investors
You you have any skills? From which you have made enough profit or How much amount you loss??
Welcome to share your skills.

We can't really tell which one has more success though, just consider it 50/50.

Been trading here, but I still consider myself a newbie, lost a lot of money early in my journey in early 2017 but towards the end of, made significant amount as well. But I'm not telling numbers though,  Grin. And I'm sure no traders or investors are going to be comfortable sharing their success/loss in this crypto sphere.
Yes it's true, we can't say which is more profitable because sometimes we can benefit from trading and also investing. And everything we do is certainly not always successful, runs smoothly and can produce benefits for us. Surely everyone has experienced failure with what they do and slowly becomes a learning and experience for them.

in my opinion both are able to provide benefits because investors and traders both have the same goal that is looking for profit. but to get the benefits both must have expertise in their fields, if not then they will suffer a loss. investors and traders are 2 professions that have a connection in it. so they must really understand their profession well.and I am currently looking for profit through trading in various markets.

Of course being an investor can make you more success than trader. Investor can get huge of profit just doing nothing and go on. In crypto we have many categories of investor, let assume if we are an inveestor on an exchange, there are lot of money we can get with fees of transaction.

i ever trade little bit in past. and i ever invest in some ico too.
when you have skill in trading and investing, you can get much profit, and trade is the best profit, i mean it will give you a lot of profit than invest. with trading, you can make salary daily, but you cant do it in investing because it take long time to gain it.

It seems to me from these two categories traders have more profit. As we see many investors only lose their money. But perhaps my statement is not true due to the fact that I make these conclusions looking at short-term investments. Perhaps for long-term holders will be the maximum benefit.

Both are equally good and we can make a profit from both. And I personally trade in small amounts and invest in bitcoin and some other coins, you could say 70% I invest in bitcoin and 30% in other coins. The most important thing for me is to not be too greedy and in a hurry in making decisions without considering a few things.

My dear friend, this is a very good question, but there is no definite answer to it, since everything is constantly changing in this market, but in such a position as it is now, it’s better to go into short trades and be content with good profit, and when the market starts to grow, you just have to investors, it will be safer, because there will be nothing to fall, but on the contrary it will fly to the moon!

Traders and investors have had a significant amount of success in this market, this is not about choosing which is the best way to profit from the markets this is about what you can do to earn money from the markets, being an investor is easier since you only need to do most of your work at the beginning when you select the coin in which you want to invest, after that the only thing that you need to do is to keep holding and at some point sell for a profit, trading is a lot harder and it is a constant process but if you are good at it you can obtain more profits than investors.

I think there are more successful traders than investors in the crypto market because they are able to gain profit even the market condition is bad while investors coins are stuck in their wallet and wait for the right time to sell which has no assurance whether it takes months or years. Another reason is that traders are knowledgeable compare to investors so they know what to do.

a trader is more successful if he is a trader who is able to control his emotional psychology. Because now it's very easy to call himself a trader as long as he can click sell and buy in the market.
Investors are sometimes confused about where to decide which investments to make, whereas professional traders understand better what market conditions are.

I'm just a new trader who makes money for myself, with whatever capital I have.
2017 is a very profitable year for me because it is very easy to analyze almost all the altcoins in the market to be traded.

I earned my first money in crypto for participating in bounty campaigns, and after that I started trading. My first major amount I earned was a reward for participating in the Credits bounty campaign (~ $ 5,000).

I think that traders would have had opportunity more than investors because of the number of fluctuations that we have seen since the inception, if the market was to continue growing the way it was in 2017.

I mean not seeing the market dump, I think that the investors would have made money far more than traders, but right now, trader has gotten lots of opportunities to buy at a dip price several times and then sell at a higher price when the price has pumped and sometimes, the market could dip so much that a trader will have the chance of buying so low and then at the same time be able to sell at a very higher price every time it recovers. I remember that there was a time the market fluctuated between $8k and $10k twice in a month giving me profit of $4k within a month per coin.
trading can indeed be done when the pump trend or trend like this, the most important they know how to determine which coins have the potential. the easy view is to buy at a low price and sell at a price that is quite profitable, but must understand the movement of the coin to do it
I think everyone has their own opinion. Meaning everyone has their own knowledge about everything. In terms of trading, everyone has their own knowledge too but it is not enough because trading is really hard, we cant predict the future, the idea is you dont know when that particular token you are holding are gonna rise up. We all know that cryptocurrency has its nature in terms of price and that is being volatile, meaning the value is changing time by time when there is a transaction happening all around the world. Transaction of crypto.

During the last couple of years I would say nobody, because investors lost a lot of money by trying their luck in different token sales and traders could have lost their money by taking false decisions or failing to use margin trading in the right way.

Who is more successful depends on their capital and expertise in their fields. Traders or investors are actually the same and have the same goal of getting profits from the coins purchased. The only difference is in the way it is managed. Pure traders trade while investors invest at the beginning of the project and will get results after the project is released and successful.

For the skill I have is a bounty hunter, then I can become a trader and investor if I have capital from the bounty.

Traders who knows what they are doing tend to make much more profit than investors, take for example a trader has $100,000 to trade with and makes 1% profit on a daily basis from his daily trading, that means he makes $1000 and sometimes more on a good day and maybe slightly lesser in a bad day.

But for an investor, they might invest in a project and from the time of investment to the time it lists in an exchange, 2 months might have passed and sometimes they make just X2 of their capital, most times it's even lesser and sometimes they even lose, I would pick an experienced trader anytime.
I think trading with that much capital will not always be able to provide benefits if you cannot control the patience you have because you must know that no cryptocurrency trading can always guarantee profit, all cryptocurrency price movements are difficult to predict so that is what make many traders afraid of that much capital if you can generate profits.

in current market trends with a small pump that occurs several times on several assets, we use it in trading. of course to choose assets with high trading. not only see the growth in value that occurs but try to see whether trading also supports the coins that we will trade. because many are rising in value but trading in the market is still in a small volume. it will be difficult for a trade. or it could be just a market manipulation.
