Firstly thanks to all for reading my topic.

Who has had more success in this crypto market?
1. Traders
2. Investors
You you have any skills? From which you have made enough profit or How much amount you loss??
Welcome to share your skills.

My principle is Buy low and Sell high. But it is not easy as just saying it. You should develop skills in reading market trends. Timing is very important in the crypto market. Selling and buying are the right time need skills. So you must first develop that skils in predicting the market price. Start trading low first until your confidence develops and slowly increase as you become aware of all the factors involved in trading.

both have the potential to succeed. that determines it all from you, funds, and depends on you process it. Investors can get rich quick, if your capital is more dominant enough. Traders can also get rich if their analysis is correct and the amount of capital they support. the conclusion is that both investors and traders alike have the potential to achieve more success, if done with the right analysis and sufficient funds so that you establish your profit target.

if I'm more inclined to investment, analysis, hoard, and release.

I think it is rather difficult to judge this, because I play a role in both and have experienced losses and gains. When becoming a trader someone will become very greedy and it actually makes him lose in facing the market situation. And when you become an investor if you are lacking in research then your investment will disappear and be carried away by impostors. However, on the contrary. If you can control your emotions and act carefully and thoroughly it can reduce your failure to get maximum benefit.

There is a fine line between traders and investors but I guess traders are earning more than investors, if you are referring to pure HODLers as the investors. I am thinking of the best traders out there, especially those whales who can seem to move the entire market into the direction that they want. HODLers are also earning big if they came earlier. My skills are very limited, not even worth sharing here. I trade sometimes but most of the time, I only HODL.

Well both traders/investors have their own pros and cons
It is really up to people to find out which they are more suitable

In terms of profit
I would say Trader is definitely on edge than Investors
Investors focus more on value investing (Thus, it might be more towards long term since you are buying for future)
Well Trader mainly focus on Technical Analysis (Thus, it reacts fast in price and they can take profit and compound)

However over few years of trading
I would say i am more off an investor type player than a trader
I could still perform TA and trade, but investing does pays off alot in a long run

By investors you mean those who buy coins for very long term hold right, in my opinion investors in the past have made more gains. There are some pros who combine both trading and long term investment, those category of people should have more advantage. Take for example, I bought ICX when price was 2$ and when it's price moved up to 9$, I sold 70% of my holdings, then held remaining 30% for long term. That strategy usually works for me but in the case of ICX, I made huge gains only by trading it and not for long term investment (price dropped below 1$). Nowadays traders gain more, in the past investors made more gains comparatively.

That is a tough one. They have all had success. From the profit viewpoint, Investors of probably 7-10 years back might have had more profit than traders. But, in recent years, investors have not had as much profit, but good traders have made much. So, even with no statistics to back it up, I would say traders have more profit now.

I would always prefer to be an investor. There might not be much profit now, but in the future, it will be a different story.

It is all subject to change.

in my opinion both are able to provide benefits because investors and traders both have the same goal that is looking for profit. but to get the benefits both must have expertise in their fields, if not then they will suffer a loss. investors and traders are 2 professions that have a connection in it. so they must really understand their profession well.and I am currently looking for profit through trading in various markets.

I have a skill of keeping my nerves down without getting greedy. I am able to hold my bitcoins and few other altcoins even at the peak times of late 2017 and altcoin's peak time of early 2018. I was a trader before entering into crypto space and after analyzing the potential of bitcoins, I have turned as a investor and I just keep my bitcoins earned since 2013.

I must agree there could be lots of traders in crypto space must have been successful due to their skill set whereas I am happy with my holding as an investor. Compared to gamblers, I believe both traders and investors must be doing better job in this crypto space.

No special skill is needed for anyone to become rich in crypto space. Just keep investing into few highly reputed coins and keep them for years to find yourself as millionaire in 5 to 10 years. To save/keep all your cryptos intact, you must have another income stream for living. For example, participate in signature campaign and save all your rewards, that's all. Your earning may be from $30 to $60 per week but after 4/5 years it may look like $3000 to $6000 per week. Yes, 100x growth is likely to happen within next 5 years.
As a legendary member you are the first one i see that gives a reality advice to investors and traders on this forum, many i have came across gives misleading information to people on here, no matter how long it takes, holders will still be the ones on top and highest gainers, i never invest a penny but i am ready to hold for years

I/ve made a fair amount but I have also got very greedy the once and invested a whooping 0.27 btc and ended up with only 0.07 btc in the end. That was a bad investment I made on an exchange. The exchange is not bad I was just greedy. After all, no one forced me to invest.

I think most people think they traders and fool themselves into believing they are just because they dump some bounty or altcoins. You only a trader if you invest and wait and plan a strategy. I am not really a trader and I do not and will never consider is a means of making that is stable. Some things you can predict that have a higher chance of happening than not happening and then you can risk an amount on it. AS long as you win more then you lose.

Both will be profitable if you'll have the skills to do it in the right market situation. You should know how to apply the basics and you must also have the patience. I'm not a perfect trader but I got the skills to apply at least the basic strategy which is to buy low and sell high. Investing is also profitable for me especially when I have chosen Btc last 2017.
Bitcoin is always a good investment it may not be seen now by those who invest after 2017 ath, I still believe its a good decision to buy now as I earned from it too before, they can be both effective since some the we invest we can trade anytime as long were in profit by that time or to cut loss. I don't trade a lot, when I do I just make sure to look at tops only so it may be an investment too if I will not trade it properly.

Both investors and traders make huge profits, but the fact is that traders constantly sit from morning to night and study various cryptocurrencies on which it is best to trade and it takes a lot of time and effort, but it is much easier for investors when IEO appeared, because you can even do not study the project and make investments in it if the project conducts IEO on such top exchanges like binance.

I think trader is the one who will earn more profit. As a trader we need to know when to invest more and to stop. We need exact amount of knowledge before we enter in trading. For me having a 20%-25% income from my capital is enough to trade my coin because I believe that it is worth it to have a small profit because too much greed will drive you going to loss.

What sense of success? success get a lot of profit or those who can get through difficult times in crypto because of good financial management. I think the most financially successful are those who invest in bitcoin and do side jobs to fulfill their daily needs. He remained in the hold for years without touching the investment. He can do work in the real world or can become a bounty hunter. All depends on their interests.

Both are successful depending on the market they are investing on. I can't tell you the calculated risks of being an investor instead of a trader. But investors sure make good profit in some IEO,  while traders making good profits in some trading.  When there's profit there is also risks. My skills is holding more crypto assets I have and it has worked for me well. I don't earn much being a trader.

I think the ones who are successful are crypto traders, especially bitcoin traders. because bitcoin price movements are carried out by whales (which have a lot of bitcoin). I personally have a regular income from trading. and partly from the bounty. for a loss, maybe about 1/3 of a profit. Grin Cheesy

You can't define success from both ends if the two categories are both successful in their own definition and acceptance. Success won't depend on your career whether you are a trader or an investor because both can be a way to become successful.

I've earned more by just holding. It doesn't have to go with a lot of skill but it's more about patience and your understanding to the market. And the potential loss that I have is during last year, when I did sold during ATH.
