It's like selling all your savings for bitcoin, and watching it fall. Bounty is a roulette, lucky to be lucky, even if you know how to select projects.

I totally agree. Especially for newcomers to this market and become a bounty hunter, just join the bounty in your free time, and you need an outside job to maintain your life. You don't know when a new bounty will end, the tokens will be paid and listed on the exchanges, or you may be scammed.
Well after we've seen lots of cases like that after ico period, bounty Hunters needs to realize the importance of having a regular job and not just to relied with any bounty jobs, you can't assured yourself to always be lucky and always got the chance to participate with projects that will bring good results, there's also incidence that will let you being victimized by scammed teams.

Agree with you, bounty is just for side job. Don't hope too much in bounty because since 2018 too many bounty hunters are dissapointed because most of project cant keep their promise, even though he paid the bounty hunters the price of that token are so far from the ico price.
This is common sense but thank you for the post because many people think they cannot make money along with regular studies or jobs. They need to know about these bounty campaigns and signature campaigns which could be a good and passive way of making money. Skills and knowledge about cryptocurrency is a plus point here.

I had a period of time when I was engaged only in Bounties and earned good money. But now, have to work at work to earn real money. And Bounties is just a hobby, nothing more.

Yes, Bounty is indeed suitable to be used as a side job, because for now the income from the Bounty is very bad, making it difficult to get good results, but I hope that the increase in Bitcoin prices this time will lead to an increase from Bounty again.

Why not? There are so much great opportunities, especially on the raising market and there are some bounties that are going to give great profit. Harmony for example offered bounty on this forum, several months ago and they are going to hold an IEO on Binance in the next weeks.

even though I am unemployed but I am not dependent on the results of the bounty, even I am quite lazy to do it because indeed the bounty cannot be the main job despite unemployment because it cannot be expected. different if we have entered a high rank and are always active with quality content that may still be the main job as a freelancer.

Bounty is better done for side jobs, this is useful as one of the things that might keep going and avoid minus income. The bounty can't last long, the bounty only runs for a moment and that must be considered.
but many people also have benefited a lot from the bounty and finally they decided to make the bounty their main job. but for those who have not been able to get a large income from bounty, it is possible to make side jobs the most appropriate choice.

Yes,we need to have a job with stable income then only we can concentrate our spare time into bounties to earn more or nothing depends on which projects we were choosing to promote and also youtube campaign or translate campaign might give more rewards than other kind of campaigns.
you are right, for youtube and translator campaigns maybe getting a reward is greater than the other campaigns, but it is too difficult to be able to enter the list of participants in the campaign. moreover to choose a really good bounty and pay, it's very difficult.
Its not too hard to enter but you may have to be the earlier one to join since bounties have the selection of first come first serve basis.

if u use the bounty as a full-time job. It is not wise. in particular, the market is in a bear market. many bounty are just some breadcrumbs. You'd better choose some projects that are already on the market. For example: veil

Using bounty for full time could harm ones life, because bounty are no longer doing  like the old days in 2017. Some bounty will even require KYC from hunters, and at the end the hunters refuse to submit their KYC and then never get paid for for their job well done. Sometime, higher rank members can be favor but not all the time, because some of these bounties end in scam while others end with dead an shitcoins in your wallet.

Truth be told. You can't be jobless and be doing bounties. You will starve  Grin

My advice is to just see bounties as a pass time and don't be too expectant. Find some other job that gives you money. So many factors determine if you will get good rewards from bounties. For instance, when it lists, the price is out of the control of the team (unless they decide to do a buyback which rarely happens). The price of the token can rise if there is a lot of demand for it when it lists. But most times (since the bear run) the demand is low and to make it worse, several holders set ridiculously low prices just to sell off which devalues the coin.

Another factor that determines your reward is the authenticity as well as the success of the team and its project. Many campaigns have closed down in the past after several months of working on them only to announce that they failed to raise enough funds for the project. Worse case is the team devs exit scam and no one gets paid.

Project owners can also decide to execute their "reserved rights" by changing the rules at the end of successful campaigns. Rules changes can usually mean bounty rewards are reduced, locked, subjected to uninformed KYC checks, or distributed over a very long period of time.

If you consider all this then you will see that bounty campaigns are a gamble and cannot be always relied on to provide regular income for people participating in it. Those that participated in Deex bounty campaign (which ended in January 2019) are still waiting for their rewards (3 months after) and the devs are not communicating any date for the distribution. If you ask them they will say "soon". They have been saying "soon" since January, by the way. I'm not trying to slander the project or anything. I'm just advising fellow bounty hunters to try to get something else to do that will fetch them money and not to rely too much on bounty campaigns for payments.

It is really what you say. We should not be unemployed because our time will be wasted on useless things. As human beings who always spread benefits, we should always look for activities that can support our dreams and earn big income. We cannot just rely on crypto currency bounty campaigns. The state of the crypto currency is in a difficult time which is still struggling to raise prices. So does the bounty campaign that is at the stage of the struggle. Many bounty campaigns that are not yet clear in the future so that as bounty campaign hunters, we should not just rely on getting results from bounty campaigns. We must still have a side income to make ends meet when the bounty campaign is in a difficult time.

I agree. There is no way to earn enough money from only bounty rewards. Life is not that easy and everything is expensive, bounty rewards are not enough to afford all of your needs.

Just make bounties as an part time job not full time, because the rewards are small and can not support for your family.,
if we have family and depend on bounty campaign as source income this is dangerous if bounty campaign could not give us certain income.we have to work on regular job to fullfilled our needs.

yes, bounty campaigns are indeed very suitable if used as part-time jobs, because as we know not all bounty campaigns can provide benefits to participants who participated in them.

Unemployed and just working on a bounty, it will be at risk because of uncertain income, having a better job and bounty just to fill in spare time.

Participating in bounties should be a part time job as it doesn't pay much as it used to pay in the past. So it is better that you have another job that also pays so you can add the bounty.
The truth is to have a mindset that participating in bounties in this present state of the market is just a part time or extra activities that might earn reward or worthless at the end thus a jobless individual should not endeavour  to participate however during the bullish era of cryptos in 2017 some bounties were very rewarding and their projects was profitable eg oyester, hbz etc
