Most of the people cannot control greed and addiction. Thats why casinos and sportsbooks are making big in the world

But with control and a plan good and decent money can be made

Even with a better plan, I've not seen a single gambler making it big against a casino except only a few in number who either won through lotteries or by sheer luck. Without luck, even smartness won't work in casinos and the most oversmart gambler who thinks he's smart enough to beat the odds, gets beaten up by the house edge and loses to the casino in the long run. That's why, stopping at some point is very necessary so to enjoy the winnings because if a gambler continues to gamble, he'll do nothing but help out the casinos in taking away his money from him because of his greed.

That is right. The end-user will need to have responsibility for their money if they want to gamble because if they lose their money, that will be their mistake. They need to know their limits and not try to break that to make them in trouble. So whenever they win, they need to stop gamble and do not continue playing for some rounds because that will not always win. Only we will know when we must stop and if we do not know about that, we can not prevent the loss and ruin our lives.
Good point, know your limits is what everyone should keep in mind when they gamble while they are winning or losing. And if someone wants to leave the casino with profit then they need to know when to stop as well even though the money is little its not too bad as going with empty pocket due to greed.

Even so, at least I believe there are still a lot of them gamblers out there who lose today but then more often to win. Because, if not a single person or even a single gambler was not that lucky, maybe the gambling industry would not have gotten bigger. Indeed, they are gambling just for fun, but would they be comfortable if the results were always losing? Because in fact, when you play online games that basically don't cost you anything to enter but when you keep getting lost, are you comfortable playing there? I'm sure not, so with the continuing development of the gambling industry I'm sure there are still many gamblers out there who have a professional style of play at least have a better winning percentage than losing.

We know but we cannot; that is the point of gambling which leads to huge success for gambling houses and gamblers do suffer in the end. Houses are usually letting gamblers to win once or twice which become as a wrong example for same gambler and for others as well and then everyone keeps trying for repeating that.

with control and a plan good and decent money can be made
No, you cannot. Even you make some money, you will lose it within that day or next day. That is gambling, you cannot escape. If you want to escape then you need to quit at right time.

I think the only way to stop gambling is to keep ourselves busy with work and also family, worshiping God can certainly be quite an effective solution to stay away from gambling.
Sounds practical and interesting. I tried to keep myself busier but after certain time, I get bored and I end up gambling again. Worshiping to God is something new, I never tried.

Personal experience would tell me that not being a disciplined gambler and just letting your emotions get over you would lead to disastrous things. If we are going to hear all those testimonials from people who have experienced winning and losing, we might be able to see the same pattern. Where the person won and then instead of stopping and getting the price and walking out, he or she continued to gamble and continued until the ran out of their winnings and their gambling money. That is why, I think, gambling places and gambling regulatory boards started programs that basically is out to control gambling behavior in an attempt to prevent people from gambling too much.
Well said. Self control and discipline are the key to prevent addiction. However, it is easier said than done so gamblers must know these by themselves and rigorously uphold such principles when playing.

in my opinion it is very difficult to overcome addiction in gambling because there are many factors that will certainly make people continue to gamble, one of which is the memory of when they won the gambling so that there will be a sense of continuing to do it and psychological factors will certainly be very influential if someone who is addicted to gambling arrives suddenly stop gambling so that many people will ask him about it and gradually it will greatly affect the mental psychology of the gambler so that he is likely to gamble again. I think the only way to stop gambling is to keep ourselves busy with work and also family, worshiping God can certainly be quite an effective solution to stay away from gambling.

Since you know that 10K wagering amount looks too high according to your financial status then you shouldn't have such goal of reaching VIP status. Make your goals realistic which applies to the gambling as well or else its like hitting a jackpot or lottery so you solely rely on your luck to reach that. You win and you lose so make sure you play with the amount which is not comes from your entire savings.

Reaching a goal like a special status on a casino can have one benefits like getting better rake back and maybe paying smaller fees. But these are just percentages of our winning. If in the quest to reach that status we turn our wins into losses than it's definitely not worth it. We need to gamble responsible and in accordance with our net worth. If our bankroll is only 10k than we should never bet all of it, the risk of losing it all is just too high.
I would say if your network is over million then you are ready to go with $10K bet but for someone who is having $1000 as their monthly salary then they should not try it and just play sensibly according to your value as you said. Gambling made for fun while people took it too serious and considered it as a race for small promotions and VIP level to exhaust their whole savings.
Gambling sites or casinos would definitely be making those kind of perks and promotions but actually the real intent for that is to deplete out your finance or life savings which same as you said.

This had been a common marketing stuff on where it do looks interesting and gamblers do look that it is their advantage but actually it is  really on their disadvantage on long term.

If you got lucky then you might able to pull some profits but most of the time you would really be on the opposite direction. Its up to you on how you would handle things up.
Gambling sites and casinos are also a business so they are doing their best to reap the profits so no one can be blamed, so it all comes to the end user who take decisions about money they are going to spend for betting. Gambling is for everyone but don't get just attracted to the few perks which is beyond your limits because it can put an complete end to your gambling life or even your life as well.

It is natural for casinos to offer promotions to their clients and this is not because they want to ruin them it is because if they do not offer those kind of promotions then people are simply going to move out to other casinos that do, it is important to remember that casinos do not really make us gamble, that is our decision and we must always strive to control ourselves, after all gambling is just another form of getting some fun and if we cannot take it that way then maybe it is a better idea to not gamble.

I think someone who knows when to stop gambling is the winner because he has full control over himself so he does not try to search for the other gambling games just to win.
It is good if you do not have a plan to back to the casino and I think it is better to enjoy yourself with the other things and who knows, you can make money from that things
This. You win when you know when to stop. If you can't stop, you will never win. Don't be greedy neither. You had a lucky streak? That's great. Now learn to realize your profits and move on because if you keep playing you'll lose that sweet winnings. Betting as a job is very stressful, if you are doing this to make money you are also doing it wrong imo.
We know there is a small amount of people that can actually earn money from gambling in the casino while not relying on their luck, but the number of such people is so limited and their expertise is so extensive that it is almost impossible for most people to try to imitate that kind of performance and yet that is what we see all the time, people think they not only can get entertainment out of gambling but that they can obtain profits as well and that is when their capital is truly going to be at risk.

There are some people who have succeeded in making a lot of money from gambling not because of luck. But they do have expertise in the gambling
game, and it's really not easy for us to imitate them. Therefore, don't ever think gambling can be used as a job, because if we think like that, in the end
we will be stressed. Because the more we try to pursue profit in gambling games, it is likely that the capital we use to play gambling will run out.
So until now I have never played gambling to be able to make a profit, but I play gambling only for entertainment.

Lack of fund management and emotional failure easily make you loss even when you're lucky. I've experienced it several times. Another thing that leads to loss is the targeted gambling. Just enjoy the profit, never set a target and gamble. This ends in losing than wins.

~ Dont mind about making money but rather mind on the fun that you had attained. Winning is just a bonus and you do have to put that in mind.

Unfortunately, most gamblers forget this. If a player is constantly waiting to win and this does not happen for a long time, the emotional background gradually changes in the opposite direction and the brain is trying to protect its master from the negative influence from the outside connects its defense mechanisms, which lead to a wrong perception of reality because of what man has lost complete control of himself.

I disagree.

Our brain does not protect us from negative influence that we develop in our mind, in fact, the brain generates on what we called "dopamine" that triggers either greed or any kind of pleasure, so technically when you're being greedy, it is the brain that leads you to addiction because it is what you wanted to do, remember, we control our own body. So whatever we command to the brain, it will follow if we will include some actions.

Hello to all! Another topic about casinos and games. I started playing at the Stake.com quite often. At the very beginning I thought I would just play in the evening, but one evening turned into a constant game during the day. On the first deposit, I was lucky and I took out a little, it was x3 of my deposit and I was happy. Recently, I just started making stupid deposits and trying to win something and I understand that this is self-deception, but I cannot stop and make more and more deposits. I decided to make the 1st level of VIP, but for this I need to make a turnover of 10k dollars, but I am a player with low stakes and this is difficult for me to do. You seem to understand everything that you will lose, but you go to play again. How to get rid of gambling addiction?

Just like trading, set your stop loss or cut loss. For example, if you already commit three consecutive losses within an hour or within the day of your gambling, no more hesitation, no more questions, stop gambling then try it on the next day. I do not know if you believe in luck but somehow I believe in it. We are not lucky everyday so everyday will not be our day. Another, get rid of gambling by trying to give value on our time and money. Instead of gambling all day, we can spent our time like studying trading. Instead of putting our extra money on gambling we can try to invest in promising coins.

Yes, I agree - it's a very good idea!

The gambling addiction arises from the lack of adrenaline.

Man is born a fighter, warrior and hunter.

A calm and measured life destroys and kills him.  Trading and investing are activities that are associated with drive and excitement.  At the same time, while trading, you continue to control your life, and do not rely entirely on fate and luck.

The negative side of gambling is the formation of learned helplessness, when there is no correlation between a person's actions and his victories and achievements.
