The knowledge about crypto in my country is still very shallow, all Cryptocurrencies are still consider to be Bitcoin, only few youths knows the different between Altcoins and Bitcoin. Aldo there's no any strategic government policy about Crypto.
In my country bitcoin can be used under users risky because it is not a legal tender but it doens't means that it is an illegal thing to do in my country.But nowadays more people are started to doing crypto trading which can be a good thing for the individuals to earn extra money and looking for some kind of job.
I live on an Island in Europe and here cryptos are slowly permeating into our society. Mainly as speculators and a few blockchain experts. There is a big blockchain event Happening also in Limassol every year for the past few years and many big Whales go there, so something is happening here, but the majority of the population here are still asleep. Some people haven't even heard of Bitcoins and Altcoins and until we see more retailers accept cryp[tos here, most peeps will only buy and hold cryptos and trade for now in my country. Like for myself I just use localbitcoins to get money into my bank for my living expenses once a month.
Until now in my country there is no clarity about cryptocurrency. Still in the research stage to be accepted or only as a digital asset. It tends to not be accepted by the government, and I hope the government can fully support cryptocurrency. Hopefully.
Upon reading the replied on this thread, I am glad that crypto is doing great in your countries. From what I heard of, a lot people in our country are heavily invested on bitcoin. Crypto is so famous and some people are taking advantage of it by creating ponzi schemes using crypto. Our people learned a lesson and they now know what crypto currency is. Everyone learned from experience and sometimes we need to learn the hard way.
My country, Indonesia, has not given the legal status to crypto currencies to be used as a payment instrument or currency. But local news is always reporting on the development of the latest crypto currencies. Every time I open an internet search site in my country, I immediately see the main news headlines, one of them is about crypto currencies. In my country, there are many crypto currency players, even every day there is always an increase in the number of people joining crypto currencies and people investing in crypto currencies. The fluctuating and downward trend in the crypto currency market does not dampen the spirit of crypto currency players in my country. Hopefully the presence of the new crypto currency player can add to the contribution so that the market situation can improve soon.
I hear local exchanges in your region reach millions of users? is that true? it's a pity that the government in your country has not determined any status on cryptocurrency, even though it can be an advantage for your community and your country, my country have legalized it, but there are still few merchants who accept it..
I know a lot of countries that are close to make crypto legal and Russia is not in this list at all. I think that our giants will wait till the end and will do something only there.
I live in Belarus, and our cryptothermia is almost legalized, we can earn money on free access, and there are no restrictions, I hope that this law will stay forever 
In my country , we have own wallet so I can cashout and cashin bitcoin anytime and the government supported it last year ago they release news about bitcoin and all about good and positive about bitcoin and I hope it will continue and not change for sure if gonna happen a lot of people will be affected on that.

Your country is like my country. There are many people who are victims of scammers. And i think that is their fault. Because they just jump into cryptocurrency without knowing how it work and how to make profit out of it. And now they are saying bitcoin is scam because they became victim of other people.

Cryptocurrency is not allowed in the country,according to the legislation of our country,as it has no real value.

I do not listen to the media I use only the Internet. So I get information about cryptocurrency.
In my country, cryptocurrencies are not something that the government are exactly bothered about. some individuals here have found it a reasonable and wise thing to venture into it, and there are lots of people that are making so much profits from it. There are still a lot of individuals that are unaware of it, snd how it works, but with time, I think crypto will become more popular here.
in my country crypt has not yet been properly developed, but interest is growing and I hope that it will change
I am glad that my country is not going to ban Bitcoin and the cryptocurrencies. However, I have heard that all the miners and the crypto traders will pay taxes soon. I am ready to do it if the tax sum is not large.
In Latvia, cryptocurrency is not prohibited, but it has no official status. The mass media exaggerates the opinion that these are unreliable investments due to the constant fluctuations in the exchange rate.

We can use crypto in my country but there are limitations, I'm lucky I lived in a country that doesn't illegalize crypto currency. But i feel sad for my country because bitcoin here mostly use in scams
