I'm curious, how big are cryptos in your country? Are they still collectively referred to as bitcoin, or do news reports and local media actually dive into their merit and the difference between coins, projects, companies etc. I'm from Canada and most of the current news is wavering between reports of malware installing mining agents and the Canadian Security Exchange cracking down on ICO sales.

My country is not against cryptocurrency, but they are still doubting it because of people who are using the name of bitcoin to scam other people. Also the other problem we have is the biased media, they are reporting bullshits which is not even true, they are adding up stories which they have invented to fool other people, how pathetic, no wonder we are not making any progress here in our country because we seek for "change" yet most of us here can't begin the change from themselves.

There are people though who knows cryptocurrency here in our country, they do mining, trading, and even bounty hunting, all of the ways just to earn cryptocurrency, the president is cool with it, I'm not hearing any news that they are going to ban it or something worst.

Some countries are afraid of cryptocurrencies. Can't get it why. Think because they can't control it. And because of that they want to set it illegal. And it's pretty shaming.

In my country electronic money is not widely known so there is very little talk about it in the media. I know electronic money from my dear friend. The government does not seem to care, our government does not recognize passwords as a legitimate currency.

Here in our country they have negatives beliefs about crypto. Only few in our country believes in this kind of system maybe because they are not knowledgeable about this system or they heard some negatives thoughts  such as scammers.

The government of my country does not recognize crypto as a legitimate currency, because my culture adheres to eastern culture, the government considers cryptocurrancy to be haram. they say that cryptocurrency has a high risk of losing money and is vulnerable to being used for illegal transactions. Although they prohibit the use of cryptocurrency as a currency, there is no criminal action for Bitcoin holders, but the cryptocurrency community in my country is growing rapidly.

Most people here believe that cryptocurrency is still just a fraud or all the hype despite the fact that I heard rumors that our government began to support it. We do not have a bank here that accepts cryptocurrency which makes things easier for us here is we want to withdraw money.

Cryptos don't seem to be common in my country and even thereupon, the few people who assume they recognize cryptos consider everything to be bitcoin. If you asked somebody what ethereum is, he is probably to mention it's a sort of bitcoin. There's not abundant data concerning cryptos up here.

My country is currently adapting to crypto and blockchain technology, it'd even settle for crypto as a mode of payment with virtually everything since we will pay our bills already with bitcoin and ethereum.
