I'm rooting for Warriors on that list since it was announced that Curry may comeback before the playoffs or after a couple of games. Though Suns may have the best efficiency rating in this round especially in the West. As per the observation in the past even good league standing teams can be defeated when playoffs is running, even underdogs tend to surprise the world when it comes to NBA playoffs.
His appearance in playoffs is now in question too base on the latest report and statement coming from GSW spokeperson. Curry is just optimistic that his team mate can beat whoever they fight on the first round. I will choose GSW too even without Curry if Klay Thompson and Andrew Wiggins will be consistently good on the playoffs because Poole already got cover what Curry doing inside the court. Poole is very underrated player right now of GSW.
Well that was bad news for the Warriors since his impact is huge on the court and his absence would really make some difference on how they play in the regular season. If they head-to-head with Memphis I guess that will be the best matchup considering Brooks has something to say to the Warriors specifically to Igoudala.

I have trust on Poole considering at the start of the season he already made a huge impact with those threes he throws just like what Curry and Thompson type. It's nearing and I anticipate it.

Even if we say Green is there and Klay is in the line up still the presence of Curry will be a huge loss for them. And if Curry cannot able to make it provably we can see them fall on this season again. I have also trust Poole and other of their young potential rooster but I believe their experience is not enough especially the pressure in crucial games is so different.

I'm eyeing on NET to win this championship this season though it is tough fight as almost all of the listed teams are good in this  area so assuring ones winner is not that easy but according to the team and coaches , NET has a big potential winning this one.
I was looking forward to Warriors to be the champion this season or Brooklyn Nets with KD and Kyrie I thought they would be the strongest team with James Harden but it seems there's a problem with them based on the performance of Harden in the past few games where he is still in the Nets.
but do warriors really have a chance this season? it seems that the team is still not that fit to win back the crown.

I can spend a few dollars to bet for the Grizzlies for that @17 odds, they are a true contender for the trophy right now so they are worth the bet for me.

I'm not a fan of this kind of betting TBH because, in the playoffs, teams are so fragile, I mean an injury to its star player could ruin their chance to be in the Finals, just like what happened to the heavy favorite last season, the Nets.

Grizzlies this season cannot be underestimated that much because they can still give a good game and win it without their star like Ja Morant, we already saw them dominated the Suns in the regular season and that's like a preview to me how will they behave in the playoffs but their only disadvantage is that they don't have an experience in the playoffs. But yeah, Grizzlies is worthy to but right now and of course with the favorite Phoenix Suns.

Also, if in-terms of injuries, that's avoidable especially in the playoffs but if I would choose between Grizzlies and Suns without Ja Morant and CP3, respectively. I'd pick the Grizzlies.

Admit it, people might be rooting for the Phoenix Suns to win the championship this season because we all want Chris Paul to taste his first-ever Championship Ring and have a touch on the famous Larry O'Brien trophy (aside of course for those who really a fan of them). I actually looked forward to it last NBA Finals as I think that it might be his last chance to get the ring although my betting side picks Milwaukee Bucks in that Final series.

In this year's Finals, I'm also looking forward again to Chris Paul having his first championship but again, I really don't like to bet on the Phoenix Suns for personal preferences. That's the reason why we really have to make our own decision based on our analysis + feelings lol.

but when it comes to finals this year I am sure that they will not make a mistake this time around and win it all.

Honestly, there's no problem with their performance last year. It's just that Milwaukee Bucks did their best to win the Final series.

I honestly believe that Suns should be winning this year. They did so well last year up until the finals, this year they are trying all over again and they have built a good team that has been dominating for 2 years in a row right now. This is why I believe that they will redo it all over this season but when it comes to finals this year I am sure that they will not make a mistake this time around and win it all.

This of course depends a bit on CP3 as well, he has been famously injured during playoffs way too many times in a row, if he is injured again then they will have a bit of a problem. Doesn't mean that they will lose, they may still win, but it will be harder.
I realized this too. I would like so much see the Suns being champions in this season of NBA, CP3 deserves to retire with 1 championship ring and Phoenix deserves that title.

The team (generally speaking) is making an excellent job, they weren't discouraged by the loss to the Bucks last year and they are maintaining this winning consistency this season as well!!

The entire team already knows that CP3 is prone to injury in the playoffs, knowing that, I believe they will save CP3 as much as possible and will only let him play to his fullest if the Suns' permanence in the playoffs is compromised.

Not a bad consideration honestly with Grizzlies not only just basing with the odds but with the performance that they do have and just like on what mentioned by some members above that they might able to beat up
Suns in a game but it would be totally different when it done in a series plus having no Morant on that time then it is somewhat really that expected.
Its true that injuries and  player issues would really be a big factor for an overall game performance where it could make out some u-turn of events.

Injuries change the tempo of the game, though if Suns will manage to keep those key players healthy the chance for them winning this year's

title is high, so far we continue to see how the coach balance the players. With CP3 commanding the plays, it's easier for Booker to create

his shots and makes a high percentage of attacks. Not being biased, but if ever Memphis and Suns meet in the WCF, Suns still have the advantage

In my opinion.

Grizzlies have good line up and it's when their starters are all on the floor, but Suns have a really great chemistry that runs deep into their roster, that's why they were able to keep their momentum even when their two best players weren't available for a few weeks.
The Grizzlies currently have a good team, and he has a chance to be a good opponent to be beaten in these playoffs, but I believe the Grizzlies need to be more mature and experienced, it's a young team with great potential, I believe the Suns it's in an excellent time, given that he is an excellent team these days.

In terms of value, I think the Grizzlies have one of the best odds even without their starters we saw how they can still beat good teams like the Suns, they have the firepower to go all the way but at the same time, they might not make it that far as they barely have any playoff experience unlike the other teams they'll be going against. I remember back then the Nuggets used to have one of the top seeds but they failed to reach the conference finals.

If I have to place some money on a team i'd take the Suns, the odds aren't that great but it makes sense as they're pretty much set up to go for another finals run and possibly take it all the way. The only worrying part is the injuries I remember some teams are expected to have a deep run but their chances suddenly diminished due to injuries while playing.

I like the Grizzlies too in terms of value and they really are worth a shot, If I was looking at odds then Grizzlies would be my pick, nothing much to lose If they don't win it. Aside that I definitely won't be putting anything on this kind of bets, especially not on the Suns the odds aren't worth it at all, I could still settle for a Bucks or Nets at 6-7 odds.

I'll be glad if the Suns win it this season, no hard feelings as I am a Nuggets fan.  Grin With them having a complete roster and a balanced one they may take it without a doubt. Nuggets however is missing some key factors to be convincing to  win it. Murray is out which plays a big role for the team as the Joker cannot do it all.
Bucks or Suns. That's my bet after after the Nuggets.
Nets was just a trend at the start but Durant and Kyrie cannot really handle everything. Basketball is not a two man team.

Agreed the major value here is Memphis.  They are a strong team just playoff inexperienced.  Tough to win the first year you are relevent so that's why the odds are lagging but worth a punt.  If my feet are to the fire I'd say the Suns.  With cp3 running the show no one has a better chance then them.  In a 7 game series it will be tough for anyone to win 4 games against them.

Well, to be honest it's pretty tough in choosing a team that most likely to win the championship this playoffs.
The Suns will be the most favourite to win here, but the Warriors can beat them in a seven game series, even the Memphis could actually beat them.
While on the other hand, I heavily favour the Nets to win it all IF they remain fully healthy for the rest of the playoffs.
I'd really like to bet on thet Nets here, but I don't I feel like KD or Kyrie is most susceptible in injuries during the playoffs lol.
It may seem ironic what I'm going to say, but I think it's easier for the Nets or Lakers to reach the conference finals or even the NBA Finals than it is for them to qualify for the playoffs by getting some of the last spots. (of course if no player to get injured)

Playoff games are totally different from the regular season, Durant, Irving, Westbrook, LeBron, AD among others are experienced players and they know how to handle games during playoffs (especially LeBron James).
Even though the Lakers and Nets have totally underperformed expectations, they are powerful teams and we cannot underestimate them.

1st pick - Mavs - I already took the bet @34.00 weeks ago. My way of supporting them and being a fan of Luka.
But for some emotional reason, I want the Phoenix Suns to win this and see how Chris Paul will react while hugging that trophy. He had been aiming for that his whole career and he is mostly just one or two-step away to claim it. He will give everything this time and even try to force it.
If looking at favorites they are a wise choice but Bucks could definitely make this a back-to-back championship. With Giannis getting better at his freethow shooting he became a bigger threat. What I am scared of is Middleton being inconsistent.

I will also be honest and confess that I would like to see CP3 with the NBA champion trophy, if that happens, this will be his first ring and also the first title for the Suns.

He really deserves to get that champion ring... by the way, another player that I would also like to see with a champion ring is Carmelo Anthony, he proved that he is still an important player in the team and he is standing out and helping the Lakers in most games... in my opinion, he's another player who also deserves to be champion.

I have two in my mind, it's either Bucks or Warriors. The favorite is Suns but the same unexpected fall may happen to them but it's also possible that this is until they get the trophy until the finals.
So, if it's only one, I think that I'll take that gamble for Bucks for the possibility of being a back to back champion.
I'll go with two of the most favorites teams, the Phoenix Suns and Golden State Warriors. They have quite impressive odds to win in this NBA season. However, things may go unexpected when the final game starts. It may be Bucks who has made two NBA titles, who knows?  But whoever wins this season, i'm sure the team's hardwork and perseverance has paid off. There must have been a great chemistry that creates a great team, and that makes them a champion.
Yeah, but I remember last season Jazz was also at the top but they've ended badly. I was eyeing them last season and I think this could be the same for the Suns.
But we know that Suns is actually good and we're seeing that they really going there however, that's just my opinion when it comes to this ranking and picking.

I was looking forward to Warriors to be the champion this season
If Curry will come back in time, their playoffs chances will increase because Draymond Green is already playing and healthy.
This is a complete warriors that we saw in the past, they will have a great shot in the playoffs for sure.

or Brooklyn Nets with KD and Kyrie I thought they would be the strongest team with James Harden but it seems there's a problem with them based on the performance of Harden in the past few games where he is still in the Nets.

Let us stop talking about James Harden because he is not anymore with the Nets, they will have Simmons as his replacement that happen during the trade.
Harden will help the 76ers to win.

@ OP, I like the Warriors.

Do they really think that the Memphis Grizzlies are the last to win the NBA championship this season? well, I can't blame them since we already know how hard it is for a team to get a single win in the playoff and a single mistake can cause you a lifetime of regret which you might not be able to move on. This young team has their best seasons and they can actually expand that by winning the championship since right now they can easily beat any team or give them a real struggle to win against them.

Memphis is the least favorite among the team. Bookmaker usually consider too the favorite team of many on there odds place plus they don’t any known veteran all star players in there Roster while the rest of the team in choices have. Even though Grizzlies is number 2 in the West, GSW and Mavericks has still lower odds than them because of my first point. Even Lakers can defest them in odds if they manage to get a spot in the playoffs. I hope Grizzlies will surprise us all.
