^ Here is my opinion.
I think Memphis Grizzlies, why?
Because they are very trending now and most people choose them, Brooks could fine as a good option too but my favorite team to win in Memphis.
Since Pau Gasol is in Memphis, I have confidence that their team will win and survive into a final match.

Seriously? Your reason is that they are trending and most people choose them? lol.

And Pau Gasol? Are you for a real mate? He is already retired from basketball and not even part of the Grizzlie coaching staff. If you are referring to Marc Gasol, he is also not even part of the team as the Memphis Grizzlies waived him just 5 days after being traded. Marc is currently playing outside the NBA.

But if that is your basis then it's your money after all. Cheesy

This seriously makes me laugh because his reasons for choosing the Memphis Grizzlies to win this season is just because they're trending and it's not that concrete enough to be a basis and I got confused when he mentioned Pau Gasol too, but well, that's his opinion so let's just respect that and it's his/her money to waste anyway.

However I agree because the Grizzlies this season is very dangerous and could put the team they face in a difficult position as they can be very unpredictable but sadly the playoffs season is far from the regular season and the team lacks that experience.

I want the Brooklyn Nets to be champions this season. Hopefully they will be.
But the Phoenix Suns are probably going to win the championship. Because they play better than other teams.

I think I might have to agree with your statement here. It really is going to come down to who can stay healthy and if the Brooklyn Nets can get Ben Simmons on the floor.  I don’t think they (the Nets) have a chance to beat beat the Suns if they don’t get him back. They might be the only team however that could beat the Nets, will be interesting to see how this all plays out.

However it's hard to bet against the defending champs as always. Bucks will have a good chance of coming out of the ECF but I don't think that they will repeat.

It's not that it is hard to bet against the defending champ but in the first place, Milwaukee Bucks being in the Finals again is not even guaranteed as there are lots of competitive teams in the Eastern Conference. The same goes for Western Conference and even Phoenix Suns end up with a good record, I don't see their chances are likely high to be the Western Conference champion again due to the current competition.

The Odds will never be a key factor for choosing who will the Championship this season. That's how difficult to bet on that category and what we need is to based on our own analysis and views, not on what anyone else like OP wants to achieve on this thread.

Became trending is not total guarantee that they might became the champion this season as therr are also many teams have potential to bag this up. But if they can retain their stars to be healthy on their remaining games and can able to dominate their opponents will there's no further debates on this discussion anymore. But I have a big feeling that Grizzlies will be careful upon handling their stars at this very moment since we can say that they got the momentum on this season.

I know that Memphis is great this season, no doubt about it, 2nd place in the West, getting the most win in their franchise.

But playoff is very different, you have a series against a team and it's a matter of adjustment and experience. And we all know that Memphis is too young and doesn't have the playoff experience. They have Ja Morant and Brooks, but if the opposing team was able to check on those two then they will have a hard time winning that series unless they can adjust.

Personally I'd go with the favourites - the Suns.

There is a reason why they have the best odds out of everyone. They have a well founded system which works really well, a great head coach, and veteran leadership in the form of Chris Paul. That said they are still extremely young. There is not much more you can ask for from a team.

I got the Warriors, their current odds is 9.00 but I can get 10.00 odds with price boost.

As we can read in the news - https://www.si.com/nba/warriors/news/injury-update-steph-curry-could-miss-playoff-opener
it says that Curry might miss the playoffs opener but I think he will play in the next game, so this Warriors are healthy in the playoffs.

The most important is Draymond Green is back as IMO he is the most important player on the team.

Would you agree with me?

In terms of boosting the team, yes I agree that Green is the most important player he tower both offense and defense acting like a playing coach each time they are playing. It's nice to see him back both him and Klay will take care of this team while Curry is still resting. If they'll be able to work together and win, the next round would be more exciting.

A complete Warriors with healthy cores would give them a better chance of winning another title, looking forward to them to add
more rings in their fingers.

The last time I saw Draymond Green playing is when they are against Suns with a close score in the 4th quarter. He turn over the ball due to traveling as Chris Paul is pressuring him so it gives an impression that Green is not that good compared before base on his recent match. GSW will be a good contender if Curry will be back with same shooting accuracy when he was healthy. It’s important that his game is in good condition during the playoffs.

Nets for the win. I really look forward into the overall scorer Kevin Durant and with the help of the Kyrie Irving I think they would be able to win this season, I want to see the match between Bucks and Nets too KD vs Giannis I would like to see whether the new generation can took over at the league now it is too bad that KD wasn't able to play last season due to injury.

I find it quite surprising that Nets have better odds than Warriors. I can see the two superstar effect but they were doing not so good this year so far. I totally wasn't expecting to see that much of a good odds for them. I was even thinking that their play-in games against Cavs were not sure for them. I had my doubts about their advancement to the playoffs. But I must be mistaken since these odds would most probably going to be true. Other than that, odds for Grizzlies seem really interesting. They have a really good chemistry this year and that kind of a team quality can be important for playoffs. For example, 76ers odds of course are higher but not preferable to me. Grizzlies on the other hand can be quite profitable.

Kevin Durant is the best player on the planet (only Giannis is rivaling him for that honor but he’s #2 as of right now) and Kyrie Irving is a top 5-6 player on the planet when healthy and playing. Then they are possibly going to be adding Ben Simmons to the mix, I’m not super surprised they are favored over them. Plus with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson having been banged up, I think the odds makers are taking that in to account.
Totally supporting this complete statement , in our time now it is Durant in which the best of the best player we can find , but sad that His team now is  continuously shrinking while other teams are going up.

Great choice, I am seeing the value on the Grizzlies as well, they played plenty of games without Morant and yet they are still winning games. I can't believe at first but I realize, why not give them a chance, this team is on the 2nd straight in the playoffs, they might have learned a lot in their first appearance, one thing also, Morant is now healthy.

I also like to bet on Grizzlies but a series match is different from facing different teams. I almost put a bet on them to win the Finals but I'm really rooting for the Dallas Mavericks to win the Finals ever since then. However, Luka Doncic suffered a calf strain injury recently. 5 days before the playoffs started, I hope everything will be okay although I'm expecting him to miss Game 1.

The injury really kills the odds of winning a championship for any NBA team.

It spoils the fun for real.

I will go with GSW and my second choice is Sun for this season since wuitely they are doing well this season.
That would also be my choice. Suns and GSW. While for the East, I think that I'll be going with the same choice as the others for Bucks. Although I'm also seeing that Brooklyn Nets are doing well.
But let's just wait and see how far they're going to be when the play-in comes. I also have a love for the Mavs, well it's a royal rumble on my mind, and can't wait for the results to see.

For the East, Heat, Boston, Sixers, Bucks and Nets are all heavy weight in terms of squad. Complete and healthy players will be giving us a tough time to choose, more on opinion though, Nets might climb their way to go to the next round and give anyone a hard series though like what I have said, a healthy squad from all those mentioned teams are also competitive and deserves to be in the finals.

We will wait for the play-in and the rest will be witnessed by our eyes during the 2nd round.

There is no doubt that the Phoenix Suns are the favorites, but I think the Nets and Bucks can also fight for the biggest trophy of the season. As for who can become the black horse, I have a very strange feeling that the Heat may give us an interesting surprise.
