It's just a shame that decred doesn't work when included in the multi algo script  Cry I have it in there and I can churn 1.9 GH/s however it never drops to decred, everything but decred. http://zpool.ca/?address=1RandomHcHfiiELSdNpbHJQfPBe8c7Epv

You need to set your price very very low. Do your own comparison, you can expect the decred factor to be
around .000n times x11.

Simply choose an algo as a reference and divide the hashrate on the target algo by the hashrate on the reference:

Ex: x11 = reference = 1

decred factor = decred hashrate / x11 hashrate

Or you can pick your own reference, many profit switching pool use AMD factors which, in many cases, do
not apply to Nvidia.

That's the issue with longer time coins.  You have to be in it to win it is what it comes down to.

Sucks; but is ok if you have hardware that excels at decred vs other algos.

I am content staying with decred for this month or more...  Curious how profitability will average.

An update for my small mining account;

Typically I would see 0.0085-0.010/day in my 24 hour earnings.

Since switching to decred only:  0.01311340

So Im content for sure.

I will comment that I swapped 1.6Mh of scrypt mining for 420Gh of SHA256;  but other than that the profitability is right where I expected it to be.

Still very impressed with zpool.  As far as SHA256 goes;  its been staying just the right size to keep profitability on the higher side when it comes to pool luck.  When we get over 100Th;  profitability doesn't seem as good.

Im having a problem connecting to my btc username with my x11, x15 and scrypt miners.  my sgminer for x11 and x15, on both instances, says, waiting for pools and after a while, "no servers could be found to get work from".  here is my config for the x11 miner:

{
"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3533",
      "user" : "1N4euqDASdAG5z1QWfv3BtfgNp3z3u6Rfo",
      "pass" : "c=BTC,x11"
   }
]

and my conf for the x15 miner:

{
"pools" : [
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://mine.zpool.ca:3733",
      "user" : "1N4euqDASdAG5z1QWfv3BtfgNp3z3u6Rfo",
      "pass" : "c=BTC,x15"
   },
   {
      "url" : "stratum+tcp://x15.eu.nicehash.com:3339",
      "user" : "14vZ4DHDzhttzKyNAmLzpRq6VLmCGb16vX",
      "pass" : "password"
   },

suggested edit off hand in bold.   Secondly;  if they are both running on the same hardware (algo switching) you need to put c=BTC,x11,X15 respectively.

also, I might add, the x11 and x15 miners worked just fine on crevacoin and egc payouts, so this is baffling to me.

my crevacoin and egc usernames wont connect either now.

you guys should consider setting up eth as a payout coin!
crackfoo doesn't want to exchange for coins we don't mine;  so the step to trade to eth is probably not going to happen....

Thanks!

d between 10 and 12 for my rig (3200MH) seems to do the trick, now the bitrate is a lot more stable.
will play with miner intensity a bit anyway to see what happens
thank you!

try a few diff values.

at .5 with my gtx980;  I was seeing 800Mh on the pool;

changing to a diff of 1;  I now see my ~1.7Gh at the pool.

Hello
First time in this pool
mining decred with 2xGTX970, my miner reports total hashrate 3100MH but the pool reports average of 2600MH, am I doing something wrong?

Perhaps difficuity is too high? usually between 18 and 26, and i think that for 3100MH something around 10 and 12 would be best.

i wanted to lower it but dunno the command for it on the pool. (I have on the password field only c=BTC)

thanks!
indtk

To add your own difficulty you use d=10 so it's look like in your password:

c=BTC,d=10

After almost a day;  I think DECRED isn't that bad if you stay on the algo for days at a time.   I think this is going to be the main problem when trying to factor DECRED into a multi algo round-robin....  There's no time sensitive ability to generate blocks like the faster coins I think.  But if it could be somehow;  This would definitely bump up the multi algo profitability.

Seeing .008+ in less than 24 hours generated;  is pretty nice.  My 1.6Mh of scrypt and ~900Gh of SHA wasn't even on most of that time....

Thanks for getting me on board;  I see why DECRED can be very good to have.

Top 10 DCR block finders for the month of April, will be entered to win 1 BTC prize. Paid in the currency and to the address that wins.

Ah this is new - good initiative to mine more DCRs.

Any link to find out who is top block finder currently?

You can see the list of finder in the pool stats:

www.zpool.ca/site/block?id=1309

I'll be updating the OP as blocks are found and the finder and how many they've found.

1PHSD Wink

Glad to contribute Smiley.  I have my box pointed solely at DCR for the next month.  One GTX980.  Looks like the race is on!!! Lol.

I have let Brutus rest from mining ETH for now and pointing it now to zpool for DCR. 10.2Gh/s full steam ahead.

sorry guys, I need Brutus to get to work on ETH, because just found out f2pool is now mining ETH with 80ghs.... so....
will setup a spare rig for DCR on zpool by next week.

Mmm, last time I had decred up and running, profitability was given in mBTC/MH/day, so does it now have to be rated in mBTC/GH/day in the normalisation string?
I took decred out of my multi algo setup, since the high variance due to the block find time lead to inconsistent income. I'll probably only mine decred if I want to be paid out in decred, but it was quite a profitable algo for AMD cards (or would have been with more consistent luck).
