I'm setting up another stratum server for load balancing.

I'll need some SHA256 miners to test this once it's up. Hopefully, it'll show some improvement in stability.

I'll let you know the details once I've finished testing and setup.

may not be as easy as I hoped. Stay tuned.

Oh, and in case it is of any assistance, check this out re: highly available stratum servers - http://hhtt.1209k.com/ha.php

PM me if I can assist: already running a stratum server and have a dedicated server I could use to run another for a bit if needed. Also SHA-256 rigs and interest in this Wink

Keep me posted; I'll be in to test once I repair this 1600w power supply that fried the power distribution daughter card last night.  My username at gmail Smiley

I was mining into a LTC wallet, but I've switched to a BTC Wallet (liker i was told in an earlier post) but theres still 5 LTC sitting on the old address, is there any way to trigger a transfer?  Something an admin could do manually maybe?

N8

We can't transfer/convert balances between addresses. I'm hoping we'll eventually start getting enough hash to start hitting LTC blocks. Then you'll get paid.

I think he meant a manual payout of his remaining LTC.

We appear to have some creative DDoS'er sweeping through. Should have it sorted tonight with new rules on the firewall.

Should improve now actually. New monitor in place and banning ip's already

Is there any place to get my IP whitelisted to not get banned? . .  . just in case for multiple miners connection from one IP . . .

how to cache pool's api data locally, so my don't miners don't make too many polls and get blank response?

My AR-15 ID's itself as a toaster. Want breakfast?
So a little update.

I have had my machine on for a few days now...

And the usual ~0.005 I would make in my past updates;  is now this:
3m ago   0.00380695   758e88cccf6d8f475c3243bfac2bc8fef81a...
9h ago   0.00314845   b573485a3d24c9b8c443df46d085141ed197...
18h ago   0.00306317   7ce1b8876e429d310b06e3ededbd5dffe5c4...
Total:    0.01001857

Speechless.   Whatever server side optimizations;  or coin choosing;  or whatever the case may be;  hats off to crackfoo.  It's working.  And my 24 hour profitability is at 2x what it was before I took my trip to India for 2 weeks.

As far as the disconnects are concerned:

I am still seeing them;  and there's great frequency as to when they happen.  I can see the history by seeing my nicehash miner's page.

Presently;  my s3 can handle it pretty well.  I still have it staying on zpool;  But as for my s7;  my problem happens way too frequently to justify it being pointed at the pool and so for now;I just have it trying to catch a bitcoin block solo style.

The problem I eluded to above is that the miners seem to go into a "limbo" mode when they can't switch to a failover pool; or for some reason it doesn't connect to the second pool;  or sometimes just when trying to switch to a new pool.  This "limbo mode" on my S3 is seen by the green hashing light turning off;  no red light lit; no beeping, nothing.  just becoming a space heater.   at 340W;  I am ok with it going offline until I notice and/or can reach it.   The s7 on the other hand;  sometimes it lights the green and red lights;  and you see network activity;  but the web interface doesn't load.... or if it does load it doesn't load the ASIC/board status or anything.  Sometimes it still has a green hashing light on; sometimes no light.  It's annoying.  Either way;  I am getting no hashrate, and its just a 1300W space heater... which is pointless.

IDK if anyone else has experienced these issues or noticed any similar commonalities to the issues I have been having.

When there seems to be more of a SHA256 stability consensus;  Ill point it back here.   I'd do nicehash;  but I dont like getting paid .0018-.0028 with no choice to me.   the custom "p=" password flag hasn't worked for me correctly yet.  maybe I am inputting the wrong decimal place or something.

guys did u know why I get some problems with my stats on zpool.ca I get some stats but the hasherates are not the good ones and there is some missing miners in my list any way to fix this? sometimes I get 0 miner and after my all miners come back, thank you!

I guess that a same situation which I got(get) it. Miners working good for a while and then went to zero, switching to second pool if that if configured, then revers back to zpool.

I tried diff setting, switched extranonce.subscribe off an on, different versions of cgminers or bfgminer, but all acting the same.

it seems that I still get my rewards but at 0 miners haha pretty wierd, but well i'm happy to know im not the only one with that problem, if anyone knows how to fix this please let us know.

Edit: I though thst I've found the problem, I've simply not pulled the currency in password field as its saying to always do field: c=Currency but I tried it and now I get no more statistics from my miner.
Thanks for your help if anyone know whats wrong.

I tried what you suggest, but that wasn't worked for a longer time for me. Miners are still being disconnected from a pool and miners is markup that pool as dead in time disconnection. Mainly looks like that some service disconnects that peer. So, i guess that this is not right pool for me in this time and I will switch to different ones until this disconnection will be solved.

I would assume that the DDOS'ers are spamming stratum connections;  should be easy to create a rule for the traffic I would think....

I noticed this coin on a miner that was off during my trip to India:
   Benjamins (sha256)   1.802021 BEN   1.8020%   0.005965   3w ago   Immature (3)

Does it really take that long for Benjamins to mature???    Not that I am fighting over 0.005965 mBTC Wink

Things to be working smoothly so far since my return from overseas.   And thanks crackfoo for posting up the pool's normalization/profitability table.  That totally explained why my machine with a GTX980 was absolutely needing it adjusted through the password field.

I wonder if a flag similar to "v=NVIDIA/v=AMD"  to switch between default tables for the type of GPU the users are using;  and even between models of cards;  the people just starting off can select a basic one and have it work better for them at the beginning.   Just a thought;  I dont want to complicate your life unnecessarily!

Your pools looks promising and I have pointed my SHA256 miners to you site, but those getting disconnected every few minutes, then they switching to alternate pool and then switching back to your pool for a few minutes and then switched back to alternate pools. And this is running over and over.

Any idea what can cause that?
