In addition, delving into this case, I was able to talk to some people whose level of knowledge is colossal. And they shared information that sinbad was not confiscated by the authorities, saying that this was just a very well-developed trick to relieve tension. Which is quite logical... considering that chainalysis reported that after the closure of sinbad that YoMix's turnover increased 5 times. Secondly, this was the first time that a stub was placed in the site’s corporate style (some people appreciated LZ’s humor).
Thanks for posting screenshots with more information, but I don't understand this last part.
I can't be certain what exactly happened and if something was staged and fake, but I looked for government sources in the time that incident happened.
There was official statement from US state department claiming they sanctioned and seized sinbad, and U think there was even a seizure number posted somewhere:
Quote
"The Federal Bureau of Investigation has seized the service in accordance with a seizure warrant pursuant to 18 U.S.C. 981 and 982 as part of a coordinated international law-enforcement operation."
https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/jy1933
https://www.bleepingcomputer.com/news/security/us-seizes-sinbad-crypto-mixer-used-by-north-korean-lazarus-hackers/

But looking at this again now, and maybe it was just sanctioned, not actually seized.

This is interesting, the US government do not mention the word "seized", they used the word sanctioned.

Quote
WASHINGTON — Today, the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) sanctioned Sinbad.io (Sinbad), a virtual currency mixer that serves as a key money-laundering tool of the OFAC-designated Lazarus Group, a state-sponsored cyber hacking group of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK).

But I remember sinbad saying that they were still operational, even after all that, and then theymos banned the mixers.

Now this reminds me of the account that registered here and posted about the seizure even before any member in the forum got to know about it.

Could they have premeditated the whole move?  Shocked

I'll leave this here (regarding Ym/Cr) [google translator should do a great job through the camera].

XSS is a kind of closed party for hackers, a forum where about 500 users are always online (on Bitcointalk it’s even less). Almost all commercial activities are insured by deposits (deposits that are kept by the forum administrators). As a result, any accusations of fraud are considered by the treasurers (I think you understand that these people have a basic understanding).

YoMix used this forum for advertising for many years and had a deposit of 1 Bitcoin. In addition, the YoMix thread was pinned in the services section. This whole conversation boils down to the fact that after the accusation of fraud was published, and after the treasurer of the forum examined the case, the deposit was confiscated and yomix was banned.

In addition, moderator  xss "bratva" notified everyone that shortly before this, the official YoMix account withdrew a deposit from another forum called "Exploit" (any mixer who wanted to conduct marketing activities had to make a deposit that would cover any claims).

Quote

Among other things, user grozdniyandy reported that the YoMix domain was on the same IP address with some other mixer domains, including digital ones (from which we can conclude that they belong to the same person). A little more than 2 weeks later, the same user reported that YoMix had changed the server.

There are some more mentions on Reddit, but I think the complaints posted on xss are enough.

PureMixer told me in a private conversation that they are now completely closed (forever).

PureMixerio    2024-03-14    Reference    PureMixerio has permanently ceased providing services to clients.

Strange.

Looks like I'll have to update the list again.

It seems it's time to remove YoMix and 4 other mixers (read the news).

This is serious and I wasn't aware of it till now.

PM me the list of questionable mixers. I was only able to find the @bitmover link so I'm definitely missing more.

As far as I can find, all of the articles are based on a Chainalaysis investigation https://www.chainalysis.com/blog/2024-crypto-money-laundering/
There are also some accusations from users who have been scammed but without any concrete evidence.

I am also interested in the list of other problematic mixers.

I also have no idea why you didn’t contact me about advertising, considering how long we’ve been working in the place.  Undecided

My apologies! I thought you did not do banner ads. No hard feelings  Wink

I know I have wrote this on the site but I would like to reiterate that BitMixList is not a promoter for money laundering. Therefore any mixers egregiously engaging in this activity will be deleted from the website.

YoMix has stolen more than $200,000 in the past few weeks.

In addition, several users on a closed forum reported that YoMix and some mixers (Sinbad and several other well-known ones) are managed by the same organization.

Hopefully I'll be able to tell you more soon.

- Additionally, Webmixer launched in 2020.
- I also think it would be reasonable to do a ranking by year.

Does anyone know why ScamAdvisor is showing BitMixList as being "very risky"?  Huh
Probably because someone reported you  Tongue
Maybe that person is against any bitcoin mixers or he has something personal against you.
I wouldn't pay much attention, but you can always register and complete manual verification, if you want to pay for this.

PS
I just scanned bitcointalk forum and it has almost perfect score, but it was much lower results for some other random websites I tested.

This is probably an auto-generated bunch of nonsense. Some AI tool that checks basic things about site and domain settings.
For example, the SSL certificate is now free on almost all hosting services and only a complete amateur will not add it, because it does not require any knowledge. Everything is done in a few clicks.
With or without Cloudflare, there is no indicator whether a website is a scam or not.
They automatically write an analysis for the webshop, even though the site does not have to have one.

They and similar services do more harm than good with these AI scam analyses and deserve a rating of 1/10 because only makes it harder for those trying to do their research.

You score a 7 / 100. The first mixer from your list that I checked scores a 1 / 100 (and has a "review" with a referral link). It looks like a bunch of automated BS.

The site "explains" it (I'm not adding a link because I don't want to reward them with another backlink):

The identify of the website owner has been hidden. This may be done for a valid reason as spammers use this information to email website owners. Unfortunately is also makes identification of the owner difficult. We prefer if the website does show his true identity.

We found markers on this website promising an easy way to make a profit. Our experience is that investment opportunities with high returns are also likely to have a very high-risk portfolio. There does not exist a "guaranteed income" or "secure profit". Please invest time to research this company further before investing your money. Our article "High Risk Financial Investment Scams" can help.

Cloudflare is a Content Delivery Network (CDN) Platform that does not offer web hosting services. It simply offers web performance and security. Additionally, Cloudflare collaborates with IBM Cloud and Google Cloud Platform, which implies that the three businesses have many well-known clients in common. The Domain Name Service (DNS), one of Cloudflare's most well-known products, integrates security measures like a Web Application Firewall and a DDoS-blocker. Because of the platform's solid reputation, many reliable organizations and platforms, including ScamAdviser, use it; nevertheless, like anything else on the internet, scammers can still exploit its services.

Webshop Review

The Tranco ranking of this website is low. This can be considered low in relation to other websites from the website's country. If you think this website should be very popular, please invest additional time in researching the company as this is suspicious. For a smaller or starting website a low ranking can be considered normal.

Cryptocurrency related information and/or services were detected on this website such as digital exchanges, bitcoin-mining or investments into crypto-coins. These digital valuta services are very difficult to judge. Unfortunately, many crypto-sites prove to be scams. We recommend you read our article How to check if a cryptocurrency site is legit or a scam..

This website was set-up recently. As a result, we advise you to really take the time to check this site out before you interact with it. You can use our blog post "How to recognize a scam" to do so. Scam sites are often very young. They are removed from the web after a couple of months as too many consumers leave negative reviews and social media comments. Till that time, they will try to scam you.

Technical Review

The company seems to support payment methods that offer a "money-back guarantee" such as Alipay, Mastercard, Paypal, and Visa. While this money-back guarantee is not 100% secure, it does allow consumers in most cases to get their money back if the product is not delivered or proves to be fake.

We identified an SSL certificate meaning that the data shared between your browser and the website is encrypted and cannot be read by others. SSL certificates are always used by legit and safe websites. Unfortunately scammers increasingly also use SSL certificates so it is no guarantee that you are visiting a reliable website.

One small correction,
You added AgoraDesk, eXch, Tradeogre and other exchange services under the list of Private DEXs, but most of them are not decentralized.
Only Bisq is DEX from that list, so maybe you should rename from DEX to Exchanges, if you want to put them all together.

I think "private exchanges" would be better but yeah I get what you mean.

It will be corrected in the next update.

Oh and also - Google has removed the misleading warnings now. So at least I know there's at least one support center in Google that is not manned by robots.

Please be advised that you may see a "Google Safe Browsing" warning when going to BitMixList.org on a Chrome-based browser. Apparently, I was told by Google Search Console that the page has "harmful content" though it doesn't say what.
Could this be some new type of attack on your website?
I am not seeing any harmful content warning, but I think that only shows if people or bots report website for some reason like scam, phishing, etc.

All:

Please be advised that you may see a "Google Safe Browsing" warning when going to BitMixList.org on a Chrome-based browser. Apparently, I was told by Google Search Console that the page has "harmful content" though it doesn't say what. Note that BitMixList is a single-page site - there is no Wordpress backend or the like, and there is only a single HTML, CSS and JS file. Additionally, there is no downloadable content on the site.

The chance of you seeing this warning is very low but if it comes up (I have not been able to make it display), you can disregard the warning.
RESOLVED.

This does not affect any of the mirrors.
