Hey nitassin all my coins are on c-cex and I've downloaded the latest XNA wallet to transfer them so I can do the proof of burn thing but my wallet stops syncing at block 2501??? Any reason or way to get past that?

He never released the wallet with the fix for this, but it's on GitHub. You can either download this (rather out-of-date) blockchain or compile it yourself from the source.
Thank you, will try it.

Edit: I said "it's on GitHub" which was ambiguous and it sounded like the wallet binary was. Changed to "the source is on GitHub".

The coin's author released a broken wallet - you NEED to use the previous version, otherwise you'll never sync. He's also planning on scrapping this coin, though, so you should probably just wait for the new coin or move on unless you already have a balance.

Will that magically make our coins worth 10 times as much, I doubt it.
I agree that a 1:1 swap would be the best way to do anything if you need to change the coin Smiley
+1
1:1 swap if it has to be done

just be sure we have plenty of notice i've been holding just under 400,000 of these which i'd rather weren't wasted/lost
I as well am holding around 400k of these coins and don't want to lose a single coin Wink

Create new coin with 1:1 swap for existing coin. Have a premine for that swap, have a senisble short PoW phase and then POS. Will create more interest if it is a new launch

Inputs are needed! Please Help!

You could try integrating your changes into the old code rather than trying to switch the coin base to BlackCoin's. Then you don't have to worry about burning again. After the first time you changed the wallet base, I resolved leave if you rebased and broke the wallet a second time... so I suppose I'm done either way.

If you really want to change the entire coin and burn everything, I would suggest just launching another coin. You'll alienate less of your users and do less damage to your reputation.
