Why is that pumping right now so hard? I mean legit 20% is a good number! Big green candle on Bittrex.

Its probably related to upcoming bitmart exchange platform - https://www.bitmart.com/
According to poll, DCT might be listed there...

Could be anything... my guess is that it's just some whale that waits for the sell walls to build up on cheaper prices and occasionally stocks up by buying a pile of them. It's faster then accumulating if you know what's the price is going to be in a year.

Decentralized Content Distribution
February 18, 2018, 05:24:51 PM
I'm out of the loop, so help me out here please..

How does Dcore related to the token and why is that a new blockchain ?

DCore isn't a new blockchain. It's DECENT blockchain that got a new name so we can better explain what is our technology offering to its users. There was a common misunderstanding when people taught DECENT technology and DGo are exactly same things. The aim of DCore campaign is to show all the capabilities and use-cases we bring to the field of digital assets distribution.

DGo was a Beta application built on DCore enabling content publishing and buying. It's currently being evolved and the content distribution functionality has been put on hold (wallet is fully functional).

DCore features allow for multiple usage possibilities: peer-to-peer publishing, decentralized crowdfunding, instant revenue sharing etc.

I was considering to buy decent coin, a few days ago. Team, partners and roadmap looks very good for me. So today I bought a plenty of coins.

right but the development has to be cleared up, in regards of DCore and DGO

There is nothing to be cleared up about DGo.
DGo has died.
DGo is gone.
DGo is no more.
DGo is KIA (or in this case KII - Killed in inaction).

Only DCore exists and many services are being built on top of it. DGo is not one of them. Matej Boda allegedly has something better in mind and will show up with his plan soon.

Is it so hard to read devs updates?

DCore is becoming something more important than DGO? This question is for the team. I'm interested in knowing this because I am an investor of DGO, not of DCore.
I don't see that DGO is going to benefit directly from the roadmap proposed for 2018, since the priority seems to be to sell DCore.

Am I wrong in something ??

Well it will benefit Dgo indirectly. If the core is more famous that might draw some more attention to DGO too

How is DGO going to benefit directly from the proposed roadmap if the proposed roadmap killed DGO? You nuts? lol! (No offense intended!)

I get what your saying and yes the answer here:

Well, someone around here who has also noticed. There is a lack of information, I'm not clear about the new strategy, a more mature clarification by the team would be good. I've a big investment here and the press release doesn't seem to clearly specify anything about where the DCT token goes.

Hi, great to hear from you. The current strategy is that we are going to focus on products that we validated over last year and that have a potential to disrupt industries. This means that we are bolstering DCore https://dcore.decent.ch  development (focusing on platform business), building our own mobile wallets and SDKs. Moreover, there are projects such as ALAX https://alax.io that are leveraging DCore platform to secure games distribution alongside payments in emerging markets.

doesn't make it better. Nothing about DGO

Sometimes when i look all these newbs trying to fud a project, i am thinking that is there a paid fud group that want's to bring the price down? If there is, these newbs are not doing a very good job.

There must be a handful of people who have been prepared to make this unrest, but we also do not know who it is, all just a shadow.

Decent is quite good project, you have the innovative media platform, but you may need a large community to support the price, otherwise it would be difficult to be profitable.

If you read their latest posts you will understand their focus is currently on DCore. DGO was discontinued. The title of this whole thread is misleading. It's not your fault, don't worry. Content distribution is one among many applications that can run on top of DCore. Matej Boda is said to be working on something related to content distribution that would run on top of DCore.

I understand that the projects evolve over time and add new milestones along the way (modifying the initial priorities), but from my own experience I must add that if the professional ambition of the team isn't linked to the benefit of the holders, the tower at medium / long term stops growing and falls. Nobody will hold a second-rate token (I will not have it), and without a strong community it's difficult to acquire a good market share in any field. Of course, over the years I begin to see that it's a serious and mature project, and that it isn't.
I'm still a great Decent holder for the moment, I hope that I'm not misunderstood, although it's also true that for the first time I question whether it's a good decision. Looking at the roadmap, I would like to be a Dcore holder, but unfortunately for me, I'm the Decent holder.

I understand what you are implying, that is the same that im thinking, DGO might br left behind because of the spotlight of DCore.

Decentralized Content Distribution
February 16, 2018, 07:25:05 AM
Hi there,
I've asked about the project but see that on bitcointalk decent community is not really active
could someone tell me where is more active community? at Telegram?

Hello, we are trying to be as active as possible here, what is your question?

Please join our Telegram as well for instant updates: https://telegram.me/decentch

It's nice, so I repeat the question about content from designers/artists - at the beta version accent is on creators like movie-makers, musician and writers and what about creativity like drawing, photos, illustrations?

Hello, DCore support distribution of any kind of digital content (including photos or illustrations), the actual functionality can be defined on the application layer.
On DGo Beta application uploading and purchasing has been put on hold, while the wallet remains fully functional.

well the only reason making sense to FUD is to buy more at lower price. Actually it testifies the quality of the project
