Hi guys, I need some help please. I'm trying to setup a node and I need to create my node hallmark but when I run the server and try to open 'localhost:7776/admin.html' in my browser, I'm getting 'error 404. not found.' Any idea what I could be doing wrong? Thanks!

I had the same when trying to use NHZ_xxx_API but it works fine with the non API builds...

I think you might be able to just change nhz.myPlatform=API to ...=PC

Oh ok thanks! But where do I get the non api build from? I can't find any other download link for the node wallet on the site  Sad

I think the ones on the nhz forum are the best...

http://nhzcrypto.org/pages/wallet-downloads/

Yea but they don't have a non-api version on there. The node wallet download link points to the api build.

Ok I seem to be more confused than I thought.

Trying to follow the instructions in the pdf for setting up a node.

Do I need to download a wallet or is only online wallet?

What steps exactly do I need to take to setup a node to earn coins with and have an offline wallet to store those coins safely?

Also, which wallet would I want to install?  Have PLENTY of disk space for the blockchain!

The wallet is a brain wallet, and your passphrase is your wallet.

Use this walk through.
It takes about 2 minutes to set it up.

Download the full wallet.

Setup the node about an hour ago, says server has started.  Still nothing coming up when I check my IP so it looks like it is not working for me.  Am pretty sure I opened the port, have a new router Netgear Nighthawk R8000, it is called port triggering in the setup for this router.  I had to assign the IP address of the PC I am running the node on under this option as well.

Any ideas?
which wallet, client do you use?

Good luck with the new thread. I was confused why this one existed since this project has been out a while.

My suggestion would be to rename this so that it doesn't still read like an upcoming coin release.

There's no point left in still having the Escrow@poloniex information still there.

The distribution period is 13 months, so it will be there for awhile. Smiley
The goal is to have a decentralized ownership and large spread of the supply.

Hey fellas.....stopped at step one in setting up the node.  Link to wallet is no good, where can I download the wallet?

Thanks!

Right now you need to register on the forums to gain access. I know, it's not the way it should be. We are going to be launching our landing page that will be similar to dogeparty.io so you won't need to register, and will be able to set up a wallet in 3 clicks.

Does anyone know which new exchanges we are expecting NHZ to be traded?

We have already had contact with Cryptsy and Bittrex. They are waiting for us to release our V 1.2 parity as the old version of NXT is difficult to add.
We are testing V 1.2.8 on test net now.

How good a machine needs to be to run a hallmarked node? In terms of hardware?

Very low spec. The $5/month VPS nodes from DigitalOcean are easily powerful enough for a single node each. The real prerequisite is that you have a static public IP addres, or at least a very stable connection that only changes when your router restarts. Note that we changed the payout from 666 per day to 1 million each day distributed equally to all nodes.

There's no point left in still having the Escrow@poloniex information still there.

Actually the main part of the coins that have not been distributed yet are still held at Poloniex, so this is still the case.

Nice, I'll have to look into setting one up at a fixed ip place i know Tongue (My place of employ)

My bad. Didn't expect this escrow to be still ongoing.  Grin

Time to read more, I guess.  Smiley
