No idea more than likely if it is being blocked and it was showing as online now offline yet my node is actively up and running. Sent pm with ip address in and also checked node online and meh I give up so await responses from everyone to see what I can do.

Are your nodes behind the Chinese great firewall?
Last week I discovered hundreds of nodes from China which seems that they get blocked.

All these peers sent on request only an empty active peers list.

Any idea whats going on with nodes. I have been connected none stop yet my node apears to be offline and double checked everything and it appears to be all working and connected up however no node checker says offline. any devs  have idea to check anything else ? have ports forwarded all blocks downloaded and update also changed my hallmark on it but made no difference. Anything else can be done ?

but (as this is a centralized service -with all the responsibilities involved-) please
   * always link back to a discussion,
     ** where a -supposedly- scammer can react to it
     ** or an announcement with explanations for the revocation, etc.
   * "scam" should really only be used when 101% sure, and without any doubts
   * best would be an independent jury, with veto rights, etc. for the (few!) ambiguous cases

... most such decisions would probably be undoubted anyways.

It was launched in April, but is defunct -at least- since July
- and now it is September. Coinerz was last active yesterday,
but has not posted since July. Perhaps you have to pay him better? [/irony] ;-)

There's no plan to change that behavior. It may be required for an asset to reissue, in which case they can use the same name for a new asset.
You should always check the asset id, and not rely on the asset name. Also check for latest information from the issuer, he might disappear.
We can't provide reliable data on the blockchain, so we won't show anything on the client.

Altsheetsdev added the possibility to add assets to a list, which is used to display warnings on the block explorer, you can see (and update) it here:

hi all

i was messing around and created some assets and i was wondering why i could name several assets the same name.
is there going to be a way in the future of hz so that people can't name assets the same thing it would stop some potential scams.
like if i created hzxchange no one else can, it would have to be hzxchange01 etc so people could tell by looking at it it isn't the original.
it could also give some value and trust to the real asset so to speak.
some kind of database in the blockchain maybe that could store this info?

anyway thats my idea what do you all think.

I got a confirmation from cryptsy that HZ will be added after the 5.0 fork. That's not my main focus though


As bit1 said, after the distribution is over we will have to find new ways to reach new users, keep up the transaction count to give back a bit to our forgers, and get funds to incentivize developers.
A lot of people here got afraid of the foundation after I announced it, but only a handful even took the time to only have a look at it from the inside. For HZ to be successful in the future, we need participation from its community. I just posted this on facebook:

We currently have a general discussions room, and one for each bitnation, blocknet and hzxchange. Only development happens in two private rooms, and anyone interested in contributing can ask to be added there. That's all right now, new rooms will be created as the need emerges.

All our work focuses on the release of HZ 5.0 right now, which will catch up with NXT 1.5.x and bring along further UI improvements.

Well am happy for this coin and the progress it is making and also seeing a nice increase in price too. Also after logging into my wallet also found that I have minted a block too. Not much for the block payment but it all adds up when prices do continue to go up like they are doing little bit on the down then going back up. Hoping to see this make some serious progress when rewards are ended and are harder to get hold of. Sure do hope more services become for this coin as would be nice to see places accepting HZ and gets into the top 20 on marketcap.

On the exchange note, Cryptsy officials assured me that it was on the top of their list for additions, but I have yet to see them deliver on their word. To be honest, I hate that exchange, and any interaction with the site, or people from the site has left a sour taste in the mouth. 

With distribution ending soon will finish discussion about bounties nodes and new themes will be discuted on here, I hope that on a point it coin take his own route, And more trust assets can be added, And it can offers some new facts different to nxt. Hz could be until now the better clone of nxt alive or the unique. And try of increase the number of transactions could be interesting too. Maybe hit anothers exchanges could be good besides.

Ah ok handy to know as was unsure why amounts where different each time. Noted info for future reference least I now know whats going on when being paid.
