Crazy!
cool, hope it works out better this time Smiley

It would be REALLY cool to have a "earnings/day" (and/or /week) graph, maybe on the same graph as the difficulty: it would enable to know precisely how many btc each of us is earning every day.
I know I should get ~2 btc/day theorically at my 3.5GH/s hashrate (+/- variance), but using http://ozco.in/content/balance-bitcoin it's difficult to know how much I get and it doesn't have more than 24 hours history.

Thanks Smiley

11th of May was a reasonably lucky day 15 blocks, the 10th however only 7 and 16 on 9th, so if it was the 10th  (it was 11th may or so) I can understand that earnings would be down. This is going from the timezone displayed on site rather than local time.
Hope thats a help,
Graet

Thanks.
I'll make a new test starting right now (account #1257)

Think for yourself
Is there anyway to know how many blocks I (read "my account" or "my workers") discovered?

Crazy!
about 20 minutes before I posted,
other miners have noticed a "jump" in share count toward end of round
we are investigating further
It may nave been a loss of communication between nodes, ecoinpool (pool mining software) will cache shares for up to an hour on remote nodes, we were back very close to the hour
the block we found 14 minutes ago was on eu server - It does appear to be working Smiley

Trying a DGM pool for 1 day will show lower returns than a pool with a different payout system, but when you stop mining you get paid for several rounds after - this evens up the real earnings

Thanks Graet.
But even with revenues of subsequent rounds, I was far from the daily earnings I made at Slush => bad luck ? (it was 11th may or so)
Is there anyway to know how many blocks I (read "my account" or "my workers") discovered?

Some of the confusion I think I'm seeing with DGM is the lag time between cause and effect.  Most people seem to have figured it out, but occasionally there will be some new people or what have you that don't understand that what you do right now won't necessarily affect your payout for another 4 - 7 blocks.
...
It makes for some confusing cause and effect if you aren't prepared for it or understand what's going on.
I like to think of it as a capacitor. If you have a light bulb and capacitor in parallel connected to a DC source, the bulb won't be lit right away. As the capacitor charges more current is routed through the bulb and it becomes brighter, until it reaches its maximum brightness as if there was no capacitor. If the power source is disconnected, the bulb gradually fades as the capacitor discharges its stored energy through the bulb. No energy is lost.

Of course there are many other real-life examples of this dynamic. Electric radiative space heaters come to mind - you turn them on and only after a while they become hot and heat the room. The dynamic is the same also quantitatively - in all 3 cases it can be modeled with (dx / dt) = a - bx, where a becomes 0 when the source is discontinued, and where x is itself the derivative of some quantity of interest.

For example, on EMC, if you stop mining right now, your Proportional Differential will be higher than if you had kept mining for the current block.  However, 4 - 7 blocks down the road, your prop differential is going to start taking a bit of a dive until it evens out the increase you saw on the block you stopped mining on, then it will start picking back up to neutral territory.
This comment confused me until I realized you meant that you stop mining and resume sometime later.
Is the best explanation I can find Smiley

Crazy!
some members are having issues on EU sever, shares not being counted
We are aware and investigating
Meantime switching to us.ozco.in will ensure shares are counted correctly

Damn it, since when does this happens?
I remembered why I switched back to slush after trying ozcoin for one day: way less BTC/day than other pools...

not really fair
https://ozcoin.net/content/hashrate
spiked to 1Thash a couple of times, average closer to 800Ghash last couple of days

once again I am fully aware that http://blockorigin.pfoe.be/blocklist.php is way more accurate, luck comes and goes etc etc thus the "CRAZY"

But if this website chooses to display this - well I can enjoy it and comment, thanks

Hey I know, ozcoin is running like a wild schoolgirl Cheesy

Just wanted to point out that alot of pools dont show the blockcount they really have.

And you are right thus lets look at : http://blockorigin.pfoe.be/chart.php

Ozcoin has had significantly high luck for the last three weeks
Known Blocks.
Relayed By   Count
Deepbit   19
OzCoin   18
http://blockchain.info/pools?timespan=24hrs
CRAZY!!
but enjoying it (while it lasts) Cheesy

To be fair, you guys were averaging 1-1.2TH during the last couple of days Tongue

Combine that with luck of the gods = free cheese Cheesy

Oh, you should double the deepbit block count considering about half of them dont get tracked to deepbit.

Ozcoin has had significantly high luck for the last three weeks - the only pool to be so lucky. And your hashrate dropped? Weird.
A *lot* of miners use us as backup for a >100%PPS proxy, you can see from our graph when they are offline lol

It seems more miners these days are trying to micromanage income so as not to have to be "even" over time but ahead by the minute Smiley

I like that the number of regular users is increasing and our "base" hashrate is improving even though the "spot" hashrate can vary greatly Wink
