If the price increased only 50 $ every month by the end of this year BTC would reach 1000$.If we look at what happened at the end of last year, just one big pump easily could double the price.Of course there is halving that will surely help to achieve this goal, or perhaps something more Smiley
Yes the recent pump on november taking price from 250 mark to 450 can be considered as some miracle pump that could also happen in near future.

I hope this will happen, but i am not sure.
The price needs to be stable too, and no I don't expect the price to go up just because of the halving..

I'm ready as I can be.
I'm kinda afraid that once bitcoin goes up like that, that it will come down and drop a bunch because everyone will be selling.
Hopefully the price won't drop as much though.

Yeah me too I think we will see a drop, but at the end I think it will be stable around 750 dollars.
Is not that high but is something at least if this continues that the price is stable every year and go highers.
I think we can see a 5000 dollars at the end of it.

I sure believe that bitcoin is able to get to $1000 this year, I don't think bitcoin will be at this point during halving though.
It will probably be before or after halving that bitcoin gets to this value.

Yeah I think it so too I think we will see in September, November en December that bitcoin will rise more.
I think we will see like in 2015, but much higher so double the money with it.

Lets see if we are right this time that we will see 1000 dollars again.

I can see why everyone thinks bitcoin is going to reach $1000 this year
But when? That's a better question to speculate on

Be ready!

I hope so. I think we'll need some kind of uber positive news, some kind of mainstream adoption or a big company/organisation integrating bitcoin.

The halving could/should get us to above 600 but 1000 will take something big imo.

Netflix's CFO David Wells recently said, "it sure would be nice to have bitcoin in terms of a global currency that you could use globally."

I think we will see more companies adopt Bitcoin in the next year or two.  This is positive news but honestly all we really need for another fun bubble is some panic buying mania for no real reason other than the fact that people hate to feel left out.  Wink

May be In 2016 itself also Its possible to reach some good this year Just we good business adaption from the companies which is working on world wide and There is block halving in this year. So both happening in same time. It will reach to 1000$ for sure.

With the block halving in front of us, the $1000 price level may be reached this year. It will be a great challenge to maintain that price, but for now that's not something we have to worry about.

Even I am expecting the same thing. Due to block halving It will reach 800$ for sure. But don't know exactly it will reach to 1000$. Will wait and see with hope.

I guess it might be conceivable but that would likely be only on a ballistic trajectory and it would rapidly head on back down. I'd rather wait and see it happen the hard, sustainable way. I don't think that's how it'll work, though.

It might be good to add that that would probably happen some time during the block halving. People would become too optimistic, buy bitcoins for high prices, and then eventually it'd go down again - higher than the price it was originally, but still lower than the peaks.

It's possible, but I think we will go through a hell of a roller coaster ride before we come even close to $1000. And after touching $1000 we will most likely head down to $700-$800 levels. There are too many dumpers.

I mean it can happen of course, but I $600 is more down to earth number. The only way I can see we can touch $1000 is with an actual announcement or upgrade which can trigger some mass adoption and demand. Nothing happened this year yet the price kept rising, but that alone it's not enough in my opinion to sustain $1000, there's too little demand right now for that.
