There are still many worth altcoins you can buy splitting Ethereum. Do not regret do smth
I agree that it is better in such a situation to divide your ETH into at least two parts. Part fix in ETH, and part invest in your favorite altcoins. So you increase your chances of profit, thereby minimizing the risk of loss. If I were you, that's what I would do.
Just hold on and don't dump your eth for a moment because we're going to the pump situation on crypto. Maybe we seen it so hard for the coins to rise, but the bull run is coming to our holdings so this is a great opportunity for everyone to hold on and wait. Maintain that calmness of yourself, and certainly we'll be able to survive the challenges we've been through.
You can invest this 1 Ethereum in some promising ICO. In this way you can make 2 ether or more by the flipping and then invest this assets too or start trading.
I have seen so many alt coins that were cheaper and I was holding on to ETH thinking it will pave out. I wish i bought altcoins with it as that would got me some profits.

I was watching VERGE xvg recently when it was less than 1 cent. today it is 25 cents. I wish that I had invested in it when My gut instincts was for it.

This post was dated december 2017 when ETH was about $1000. But as of today when the price of eth has bottom to $350, i dont have anything to do than to hodl my eth as i believe the next bull run will take eth closed to $5000.
ETH is in good position with the current price - it is more long-term of course, I beleive that ETH will overcome its ATH of 1432 USD someday in 2019. It is also very safe bet, because its number 2 coin at CMC and has a strong community - it will never be so blood-bath during heavy bear markets like smaller coins.
You can try your luck at ico. because investing in ico is very profitable. I advise you to buy altcoin, 1 eth is very small but you can divide it into altcoin under 1 dollar like threshold, tron, xlm and others. You might get more if you invest it in another coin.
It seems its not a HODL, rather disHODL it. We could see $100 with this rate of falling prices everywhere including ethereum.
Holding is a better choice. But if you buy some altcoins it can be more profitable. But don't use all of your money you should have money in eth also.

I would buy several ICOs or diversify on alt coins.
You could hold on to it, if you so wish,,ETH is one of the best there is currently in the crypto market,and in as much as the coin valuation has gone low, there are high chances that the coin will regain its lost value with time, the other option is buying alts, there re a number of good alts out there that can be very profitable and are currently very cheap in the market, look int these and commit to them, you will never go wrong
having 1 etherium makes no sense to hold it . the best choice is to invest it in an ico

At the moment it's better to store money in the ethereum or move them to bitcoin! When the growth begins, the first bitcoin will grow, and after that all the other coins will grow.

If I had 1 Ethereum I would buy another ALT coin to attempt to increase my bankroll. The more money you have the easier it is to make more. I would roll the dice here and if you crap out work your butt off to get another one and take the chance again until you gain traction.
It is okay to hold ethereum coin. But when you have more than one ethereum, better diversify your portfolio and buy more good coins and altcoins to play safe. It is good to know that your investment are not just in a single coin but to many coin to ensure a no loss but gain profit.
